It has been long 29 years in this wedding decor business. I have met many different kinds of customers; some who wholeheartedly trusts my artistic instinct, some who are just skeptical of my capability, some who are thoughtful and pay me enough for my high quality work, some who have yet to give me their remaining payment for their weddings which happened ages ago, some who books my decoration services for every weddings in their family and some who cancels order at the very last minute. It was definitely a roller coaster ride for me trying to evolve in a business relying predominantly on the Malaysian Indian community. However, I am extremely grateful for all those who have supported me in my endeavors thus far, as without you I would not have been able to raise my children and provide for my family.
Now, I have come to a point in life where I would like to solely concentrate on art creation rather than being involved in the commerce. Thus, I am winding up my most treasured Sankara Wedding Services business. Hereafter, I would be happy to take in more Ranggoli, mural paintings, portrait paintings and abstract paintings order requests.
For all the young and upcoming wedding decorators, I would also be more than happy to work freelance for you, which also includes designing new wedding decorations and revamping your existing decoration structures (e.g. pillars) by repainting it with intricacy. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for further creative discussions.
Thank you once again for all those wonderful customers and fellow collaborators for supporting my passion in wedding decorations all these years. - Jeya
