Sloppy Quenches Beverages for events - Cocktails, Mocktails & any other beverage. We bring the bar to you. What is Sloppy Quenches & What’s our Story? What do we do?

It all started when I was attending events. People were so focused on getting the right food and the event organized but not the beverages. It is so sad when the food is so good and everything else is breath taking until you sip the beverages served there. There is rarely a positive feedback for beverages in many events. Then I started working in the food and beverage industry and I noticed it’s h

arder to satisfy guests with beverages. That’s why if you realized, the managers in restaurants always ask you ‘How’s the food?’ but never ‘How’s the drinks’. So I started taking the challenge in satisfying every guest that walks into my working place. If you noticed, people are so fixed in the type of drinks they consume rather than to be open to new beverages. It’s always just a part of a meal and not planning to get the right drink for the right meal. That’s when I started thinking of Sloppy Quenches. It’s definitely sloppy in a good way and definitely will quench your thirst right away. Sloppy Quenches is born from a vision that symbolizes the spirit of a new generation in the beverage industry. Basically we are a mobile bar service that are gustatory. We cater to any event. Even though we are new, we are highly motivated in impressing and getting meticulous in providing the right drink for the right group of people. French 75 - Gin/Cognac, Simple syrup, Lemon, Sparkling Wine and garnish with lemon zest.

The drink dates back to World War I. The combination was said to be so potent that it felt like being shelled with the powerful French 75mm field gun. It's usually made with cognac but can be substituted with gin for a little extra aroma and a fresh lemony-herbal flavor. In my opinion, this drink goes as a great pair with the scorching heat here in the northern hemisphere.

Gimlet - Lime Cordial(Homemade) & Gin

First created to help prevent scurvy on English Naval ships as officers weren't taking their rations of lime for it's vitamin C - hence why this recipe calls for fresh lime juice rather than Rose's Lime Juice which is commonly referenced in many cocktail books such as The Bartender's Bible by Gary Regan.

The colour and taste vary according to the Gin or Lime Cordial used.

French Martini - French Vodka(Greygoose), Chambord and Pineapple juice.

The French Martini was invented in the 1980s at one of Keith McNally's New York City bars. It next appeared on the drinks menu at McNally's Balthazar in SoHo in 1996. The cocktail was produced during the 1980s-1990s cocktail Renaissance. The key ingredient that makes a Martini "French" is Chambord, which is a black raspberry liqueur that has been produced in France since 1685.

Cocktails:

- Hugo (Champagne, Elderflower Syrup, Lime, Mint & Soda)

Hugo is a cocktail pleasing to the eye, fresh, light and fragrant. The perfect drink for the summer. The beverage is similar to a white wine spritzer. The first "Hugo" cocktail was likely mixed by the bartender Roland Gruber at the Sanzeno wine and cocktail bar in Naturns in Vinschgau.

It was just an alternative, for at that time a very popular trend drink was Aperol Spritz. The name "Hugo" he had chosen at random. Ever since then Hugo was widely spreaded in Germany.

- Whiskey Sour(Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup & Bouborn)

The oldest historical mention of a whiskey sour comes from a newspaper published in Wisconsin in 1870. Eventually, the Universidad del Cuyo published a story in 1962 that credited a man named Elliott Stubb for creating the Whiskey Sour back in 1872.

This information was gathered from a Peruvian newspaper that was published by Modesto Molina.

Gentleman Johnson - Bourbon, Tea, Mint, Lemon & Cointreau

Robert Johnson was an American blues singer and musician. His landmark recordings in 1936 and 1937 displayed his talents in singing, guitar playing and songwriting, which have continued to influence later generations of musicians in all genres. Johnson died on August 16, 1938 at the young age of 27 after being poisoned by a lover’s husband. Playing mostly street corners, juke joints and Saturday night dances, Johnson had little commercial success during his lifetime. But because of his shadowy, poorly documented life and amazing talents, many legends of the performer have arisen after his death.
