In February, DCS Entertainment organised PTTEP Malaysia Asset's first Town Hall for 2024 where PTTEP announced that the brand was adopting a trail at Taman Tugu, the urban forest in the city. In June, we were proud to work hand-in-hand with various project stakeholders to bring the launch of the PTTEP Trail at Taman Tugu to fruition. This trail is now open to members of the public to enjoy.

Our efforts with continues and Team DCS was thrilled to receive this photo update from our hardworking friends at APE.

Todate DCS has planted more than 200 trees, and we will grow this number consistently to do our part for the reforesting project at the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary.

Engineering Greener Events is an end-to-end approach and also means ensuring that no food goes to waste when the event is concluded. To achieve this, we joined hands with social enterprise What A Waste who were on standby to portion pack the balance food post event in a methodical and hygienic manner. The food was then promptly transported and shared with segments of our community in need.

Merry Christmas from the elves at DCS Entertainment! Fittingly, our last event for 2023 was in relation to Christmas, as we leaned in to support The Philharmonic Society of Selangor's annual Songs for the Season concert. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to lend a hand in support of Malaysia's oldest performing arts society while giving back to the community as part of our CSR efforts.

It’s always a good outcome when we execute events for clients who share our commitment of ‘Engineering Greener Events’.

This time around we were thrilled to execute the BASF Annual Fun Run at Taman Botani Shah Alam which had the apt tagline of ‘Let’s Run for Mother Earth.

Team DCS managed all aspects of the event planning and ex*****on for this 5km Fun Run which was well attended by approximately 1000 participants.

It was a pleasure to work with the team from Biesse Group to roll out their event here in Malaysia.

The Italian wood working machinery manufacturer has been expanding its presence globally since 1989 and in Asia, Biesse has been one of the most important industry players for over two decades.

DCS Entertainment managed the Biesse Group Marketing Event which took place at the company’s headquarters in Puchong and was attended by 200 international attendees.

It was an exciting week for Team as we executed the 3-day bp Malaysia SLL Conference 2023.

The event was well attended by international oil
and gas industry experts and delegates from world over.

Despite the super tight turnaround time for this event, Team DCS managed
this event end-to-end smoothly much to the client's satisfaction.

Our partnership with Animal Projects & Environmental Education (APE Malaysia) continues to grow strong roots.

With our heightened focus on "Engineering Greener Events", we are walking the talk by consistently pledging and planting 20 trees per event.

These trees which are part of APE Malaysia's reforestation projects are
reconnecting fragmented forests of the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary, establishing a continuous corridor for the diverse flora and fauna of this unique rainforest floodplain.

We're walking the talk on our commitment to 'Engineering Greener Events' and adapting less wastage practices along the way. Moving forward, we've done away with Team DCS lanyards and crew ID printouts, and instead adopted these impermanent tattoos for easy identification during event. Our clients appreciate the creative touch, but we think it adds to our cool, street cred 😂.

DCS Entertainment celebrates 20 years of engineering events in Malaysia! By their nature, anniversaries are a look at the past and from our humble inception in 2003, the past two decades have been a vivid kaleidoscope of creating extraordinary events.
Our staying power is attributed to two of our greatest business assets - our DCS clients, and the DCS Team. Our clients continually show their confidence in us by sharing new opportunities and by making recommendations to others; we are very grateful for that and continue to do all we can to earn it. An even bigger thank you to our DCS Team who operate with a high level of quality, consistency and synergy; their effort and continued dedication gives us all reason to be extremely positive about the decades ahead for DCS.
So, onwards now – 2023 is going to be a fun ride and we look forward to sharing these updates with you soon. We are truly thankful to have you along for the ride!

Half of our sky (and roof, truss, rigging, canopy, concept and design, client servicing, workload, and on the job happiness) is carried by the women in our DCS Team.  

We value our team every day but more so today on International Women's Day a day dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women, raising awareness against bias, and, crucially, taking action for equality every day. 

The aim of the International Women's Day 2023 campaign theme is to get the world talking about why equal opportunities aren't enough. People start from different places, so true inclusion and belonging require equitable action.  

So here's a shout out to all our women Event Solutions Engineers - you rock and thank you for everything you do!
