It was a wonderful June afternoon, filled with love and happiness from family members who gathered to celebrate the union of Ben and Alyssa. ❤️

Tea ceremony is the official ceremony when the newly wed is formally introduced to their new family members, with changing their addressing from “uncle aunty” to “mom and dad”. Whenever I host such session, I enjoy being in the atmosphere where family members give a word or two to the newly wed, and always end with teary eyes of joy and a tight hug 🤗

I am very grateful that I was able to be there while the couple serve the tea to Alyssa’s Grandma. May she be a happy 😇 with God and we shall meet again one day.

第37届海南联青全国挥春比赛关丹区初赛 - 主持人🧧

已是第二次主持这项年度活动。有来自关丹中小学校的学生老师以及各书法爱好者的参与。挥春比赛最考验主持人的时候就是评审评分时间。一个小时的时间我们安排的节目远远不够填满空白的时间。所以即性的，我开启了我的话痨功能，除了向场内所有人好好介绍主办方 - 关丹海南会馆青年团Kuantan Hainan Youth 之外，也发挥了我问问题的功能。走在场内向參賽者们做小小的访问，也特别让所有人给小学生多多的鼓励支持他们。

活动主持人最需要的就是该有活力的时候有活力，该静一点的时候静一点。整个场面的力气依赖着主持人。

💍Chin Fah & Ai Sia 💐

My first time hosting a trilingual wedding (EN, CH, BM). The groom is a Baba and hence requested to incorporate all 3 languages into their reception. It was also my first wedding to host after the pandemic.

I read a pantun during their second march in and it goes like this :

Panas dan kering siapakan tahu,
Hujan rintik di Pulau Pandan;
Berjalan seiring bersentuh bahu,
Samalah cantik, samalah padan.

Burung jelatik si burung undan,
Bersarang rendah burung tempua;
Sama cantik sama padan,
Bagaikan pinang di belah dua.

世界很大，大到就算在同一所中學，在同一片臺灣土地，Jun Yang & Michelle 都没有機會認識彼此。

世界很小，小到後來Michelle的第一份工作就和Jun Yang 成為同事。或許是世紀還未成熟，又或許是因为那時候的他們還未瞭解什麼是真正的愛情，兩個平行線都在忙著長大，忙著散落天涯，忙著成為更好的自己。

後來在2019的情人節，一朵藍色玫瑰成為了新郎表白的證據。直到今天，1370天的朝夕相伴後，他们終於決定共赴遠行。

It's a wedding with huge love from parents and siblings. The bride's mother prepared a beautiful poem that makes my eyes went teary. The groom's siblings gave an impromptu speech that were funny yet lovey. ❤️

He said - when the time is right, things will be, too. And true enough, 2 years after that conversation, they found their way to each other. I guess true love will always guide you to the right way.
