The U.S. $1 bill has featured George Washington's portrait since 1869, and its modern design, introduced in 1963, has remained largely unchanged, making it one of the most enduring banknote designs in history.

1869: The $1 bill first featured George Washington’s portrait in the "Rainbow Note" series, along with other distinctive design elements, including colored inks and symbols.

1929: The U.S. standardized the size of all paper currency, including the $1 bill, to its current dimensions. George Washington remained on the $1 bill with minor design changes.

1963: The modern $1 bill as we know it today was introduced, featuring George Washington’s portrait, the Great Seal on the reverse, and the other elements still seen today.

On 2 October 2024, Bank Negara Malaysia issued commemorative coins to honor the installation of His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim as Malaysia's 17th King. 🇲🇾👑

Obverse – The coin’s center features a portrait of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, beautifully framed by a stylized black pepper plant motif. His Majesty’s name, "SULTAN IBRAHIM", is inscribed along the upper edge.

Reverse – The center showcases the royal insignia of His Majesty, set against the same elegant black pepper plant motif.

That’s right—Brunei Dollars (BND) and Singapore Dollars (SGD) have equal value and are both accepted in either country without exchange rate hassle.
