[ARTVENTURE: SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME]. Recently, we had our exciting school holiday programme, Artventure. In the spirit of celebrating Malaysia we had the programme packed with fun, culture-rich activities keeping our little participants excited. They started the programme by designing their very own Paper Lantern Bowls and Circle Paper Fans, exploring unique art techniques and adding a personal touch to their creations led by Ms. Nisa 🎨. The children also had the chance to try their hand at playing the Angklung 🎶, a traditional bamboo instrument, under the guidance of the talented Mr. Rushdi. And finally, we got cooking with a lesson on making crispy, delicious Veggie Pakoras 🍽️. Led by Ms. Aqilah, the kids had a blast preparing this simple yet flavorful dish, combining culinary fun with a touch of cultural appreciation. We had a great time, and we hope the kids enjoyed it just as much

Boleh Bah Kalau Kau (BBKK) was the winner of Tuanku Bainun Young Changemakers Awards 2020 (Group Category). Based in Sabah, they came up with an innovative idea aimed at addressing the issue of stray dogs on school grounds, which posed a danger to both teachers and students. They produce a device that creates a high-pitched sound that is inaudible to humans but uncomfortable for dogs, deterring them from entering the area. This solution was both humane and effective, ensuring the safety of students and teachers without harming the animals.
