During TIRAI 2025, the talented students from our sponsored Artspire Visual Arts program had an exhibition featuring artwork they did throughout the programme. Under the guidance of our dedicated educator, Cikgu Diba, the students have proven just how much they’ve honed their fundamental art skills. 🎨 The students of Artspire Visual Arts successfully conducted a keychain crafting session for our guests. We also had a super fun photobooth packed with tons props that was made by our talented students for everyone to strike a pose with. Under the guidance of Cikgu Ang as their educator, the students of Artspire Chinese Dance have shown significant improvement, developing strong teamwork and coordination skills. This growth helps their group in performing as it requires precise synchronization in their movement. In January 2025, they will be performing in the highly anticipated theatre production “Matahari” during TIRAI 2025, featuring over 100 students from the Artspire programme—a year-long sponsored programme for children and teenagers. With the tutalage of Cikgu Diba, these students have developed the fundamental skills essential to visual arts, giving them a strong foundation to understand the basic techniques of various art forms. In January 2025, alongside our Young Chef and Sewing students, they will be part of our charity bazaar during TIRAI 2025 showcasing what the have learnt throughout the 1-year long Artspire programme. Featuring our Artspire sponsored programme, Gamelan taught by Cikgu Rushdi Angklung taught by Cikgu Firdaus 24 Festive Drums taught by Cikgu Zex Gamelan, Angklung, 24 Festive Drums is part of our Artspire sponsored programme. The students are exposed to traditional musical instruments for the year. They will be able to learn musical techniques and develop specific skills in playing these instruments. Understanding the rhythms and melodies as well as the harmonies unique to the traditional musical instruments. This technical knowledge will improve their focus, teamwork and musical abilities. We provide 12 different programmes, including Gamelan, Angklung, 24 Festive Drums, Young Chef, Visual Arts, Sewing, Theatre, Malay Dance, Chinese Dance, Indian Dance, Tari Silat & Choir In January 2025, participants will have the chance to showcase their talents at TIRAI, a public event featuring a theatrical production, alongside arts, culinary and sewing exhibitions. The event will also feature an all-day charity bazaar. Our programs are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and empowerment, and we believe every child deserves the opportunity to explore and experience a variety of enriching life skills.
