Hi all! And just like this, We are back!!! After a long break, spending time with family, getting covid, coming back, recovering from jet lag, and trying to adjust back to the routine, I am ready to start posting again!!

I have never made one of those posts where you introduced yourself, but I think this is a good time since I am showing my face. Here I will share 5 things you may not know about me.

1. I am a chemical engineer specializing in process safety.

2. I am a mom of two beautiful kids (my daughter is 8yo and my son 5yo)

3. I am passionate about everything, craft except crochet and sewing...I am terrible at it.

4. I am highly detailed oriented and a bit perfectionist.

5. I didn't want to move to KL, and now I don't want to go back 😬.

Do you kids cry when their friends are about to hit the piñata, or are they ready to be the first to hit it?

My kids have mixed feelings about it. Depending on the piñata, they will not want to hit it, so what do we do in that case? We just turn the piñata upside down and drop all the candies through the filling opening.

Another post of facts!
Did you know...Sharks have outlived the dinosaurs and many other forms of life currently on earth? There are fossil records dating back 400 million years. But now they face their most severe threat from overfishing. Many species are threatened with extinction.

We should do our part to avoid sharks been a part of the past and keep them in our future. Don't let a piñata like this to be the only sharks left on earth.

First time showing my face in the feed. If you know me, you know I am not shy, I love to talk (sometimes way too much), I don't mind speaking in public, asking questions, or answering them if I know what to say. Still, when it comes to being in front of the camera, I don't feel comfy; I never like how I look, probably because I am always in the run, the makeup I own it's the same I used to sell when I was at the uni, and I hate to hear my voice in the videos.

I am making an effort to show more of myself and my creative process here, share with those who don't know me the work I do and how I do it (at least this is my goal for this account) since things in Malaysia are starting to open up and the school, at least for my youngest, is starting this week I hope to show more here.

You have heard me before saying I wouldn't make a piñata that looks like one of the main characters because the kids will destroy their beloved cartoon. But they look so cute.

This is the third time trying to post these pictures. I thought it was a signal not to post it. But they are such fun pictures. I loved playing with the color feature of the camera.

BTW what's your favorite color? If you have to choose one to wear for the rest of your life, which one will you use?

Some kid's shows are so good that you can sit and watch them with your kids. Super Monsters from is one of them.

We have seen all the seasons several times; we have even been a super monsters family a couple of Halloweens ago.

So, tell me, do you sit to watch TV with your kids? Don't you feel like you are enjoying it more than them sometimes?

Anyone else with a firefighter in training? This little guy has been obsessed with firetrucks and firefighters since forever!

The owner of this piñata is another firetruck fan, but his mom knew if the kids would hit the piñata, it couldn't be a firetruck, or the birthday boy wouldn't let anyone destroy it.

That is why I like to think about other theme elements that will look good as decoration and fun to break without tears.

This is my first project like this. I will not say it was easy, the concept isn't mine.

A long time ago (like 6 years ago) my cousine told me about this account on IG of someone that did amazing wedding cards. I started following her because they were really amazing and I want it to see if my cousins invitations were published. This account evolved and started to make things with paper I really liked and hadn't seen anywhere else. At that point I was mostly into pregnancy and parenting accounts... I was pregnant with my first baby.

When the stories and the lives started and she started to appear more, I really liked her content and the way she talked and the things she was sharing. And I don't remember when I watched a live or a video where she was putting together a piece. I think it was a cake topper of monsters Inc, with layers. I was in love with all the details, and beautiful things she kept sharing.

At this time I was doing a lot of basic things with my nothing fancy but a new world without vinyl appeared in front of me and it was so cute! All the things I could do that could match with my piñatas at my kids birthdays parties.

Last year with the pandemic, maybe before, she started giving classes, it was always about cameo and silhouette studio. Once I asked her if the class could be helpful for someone that had a Cricut, and her answer was, of course!! That day she made my day. I was going through a huge depression; I talked to my husband, and with all the guilt about spending money I wasn't earning, I took my first class. Illustrator. For those who know me, why would I start with the easiest class if I could start with one of the hardest. The thing is, she got me obsess with her classes. I couldn't, and I can't stop going to them. They became my therapy, together with another special person I met through her ()

I am a Chemical Engineer, my specialty has to do with a part of process safety were paying attention to details is very important. I could define myself as a very detailed oriented person.

You can see a lot of me on my piñatas. I have a need for details. And here you can see some of them. I even sewed the ruffles of the skirt and socks, looking for a more authentic look. And I will do this with all of the things I do to make them more unique.

Anyone with an .O.L lover?
Surprise glamglitter, hair bottle, winter disco, o.m.g, color change, remix, series 1,2,3,...100 you named it...we have one. Whoever invented these "surprise" toys is the smarter guy/girl on earth!!! Why would you buy a big box with a doll when you can have small balls, full of plastic bags with tiny shoes and accessories. We even know the name of all of them!!!

I've been lost for a few weeks now, sick kids, spring break, moving, a party to plan, school drama. You named it; I got it.

I am exhausted and excited at the same time because I have a new piñata. I am very proud of how it turned out. But I could not publish the new one without leaving this cuteness here. Because it is for them, I do this. From the youngest to the oldest. I love them so much!!! And their faces when enjoying this moment🥰🥰🥰

This was Axel's first piñata, and it was his Aunty Denyse (the real one 🤣) who made it. I hope I can make another one for you soon before you are too old to have one.

Have you note how your kids don't need a huge decoration to be happy.

In these times of social distancing and small gatherings, keep it simple is the best, but make it beautiful.

This very simple but cute garland made the table decoration look unique and the little one loved it.

Family is the most important thing for me. Life has made us move around the world and far from family and friends.

I am very grateful for the years we spent close to some of them. The fact I was able to create this piñata for my handsome nephew made me so happy! Seen his face as he saw the transformation of his favorite animal at that time was priceless.

This piñata was fun to do, especially because the birthday boy was around as I was making it.

I hope soon I will be able to make him another piñata and his little brother too, get to spent time with them. I miss you so much!

No matter how many piñatas I do, this is always my favorite. Look at those shoes! They are still around in a box in a storage unit back home.

When it was time to make them, I couldn't think of a way to do it, and my mom comes and tells me, easy, you just made them as if you were doing shoes!... Mom, do you know I am a chemical engineer, not a shoemaker!!!

Yes, I am a Chemical Engineer! Who works at oil and gas and loves to make Pinatas, party decors, and 3d letters, among other craft stuff! Where other is a lot of different things! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

One of the things I love the most about having my parents around on the kid's birthdays is they will help me with whatever crazy idea I have.

I wanted to have a "shop" to put the fruits for the kids and also for them to have something else to play. I saw a tutorial for this one and asked my Dad to help me. He immediately jumped in with my husband's help.

The roof was the final touch. My Mom did a fantastic job, perfectly sewed. If she weren't around, it would be put together with fabric glue, and it wouldn't look so good.

Can you spot the 3D letters?

The 3D letters were all my job. If you scroll to the end, you can see they are still alive after 3 years around in my daughter's room, many falls, and after moving across the world.

The "shop" is now part of my craft room. It is “my daughter and me “special craft space. (last picture, it is a mess right now. Please don’t judge😬)

There is also a sneak peek of the cake my mom, and I did as well as all the other sweet things...including the birthday girl 🥰🥰🥰

One of my favorite piñatas ever!

This piñata was special because my mom and dad were with us, and both of them help me during the process. This was the last piñata I did for my daughter 2 years ago. It was as tall as her. Now I am working on her next piñata, and we are both very excited...you will see the process soon.

Frozen is one of those movies you can watch over and over, and you always find something new. Olaf is one of my favorite characters from both movies, and I wanted to make one different from the other piñatas of Olaf you can find all over the internet! I got to mix different technics in such a simple design! I love it! But I have to confess I was not too fond of it initially, and I had to start over again with the dressing. Funny story! Once I finish the structure of the piñata, I placed it on top of our dining table. Everyone that passes nearby jumped, scared. I laugh at them because it was daytime and you can see it was the piñata. Until one night, after I finished dressing it all and glue the head, I was heading to the kitchen and completely forgot about the piñata! When I saw it I almost screen and of course I jumped. I started to laugh at myself.
