Why a wedding and event planner should be your most expensive vendor?
Time:
The average full service wedding or event planner spends about 400 hours planning a wedding.
The average third party wedding or event vendor spend about 20 - 50 hours on their role in wedding or event.
While this is not to compare who works 'harder', it's literally just a fact that with more labor, comes more cost.
Responsibility:
The amount of responsibility a wedding or event planner takes on is staggering.
If anything goes wrong. it will inevitably fall on the planner. Which, of course , sorta comes with the job.
But the more tasks required, the more pleasure that comes with the job, the more responsibility to make everything perfect - the higher the value of the service.
Saving:
What a lot of people don't realize is that, due to experience, connections, negotiation skills, and more.... planner actually SAVE their clients a boat load of money.
So, while it might seem like a planner costs a lot, they are worth their weight in gold and will almost always make you that money back, one way or another.
Stress:
Okay, this one is hard to quantify but honesly.... your mental health is worth more than anything.
The amount of stress, time, and overthinking that having a planner saves couples is not something to overlook.
This alone, is a huge part of what makes a planner your most expensive vendor.
NOT an easy job and not cheap as well.
