Meet one of Malaysia's most accomplished young musicians, Tengku Irfan, who has gained international recognition as a piano prodigy, conductor, and composer.

Did you know…?

1️⃣ During Irfan's first major debut performance with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 11, he improvised his own cadenzas for all three movements of Beethoven's Piano Concerto in E flat.
2️⃣ On average, he pays more attention to the difficult parts of the piece while practicing.
3️⃣ He currently pursues a double major in piano and composition at the Juilliard School and, simultaneously, studies conducting with David Robertson.
