What to Expect: This class focuses on delivering poetry, mime, and storytelling, encouraging a spontaneous and creative approach to performance.
Duration: 45 minutes.

🎭 Junior Drama Stars
When & Where: Saturdays, Studio 1, 10:30-11:30 AM
Age: Kids 7-12 years old
What to Expect: Students will explore poetry, prose, and play scripts, honing their acting skills and performance awareness. They will have the opportunity to enter Trinity College London Drama and Speech foundation exams.
Duration: 60 minutes.

When and Where: Sundays, Studio 2, 10:30-11:15 AM

What to Expect: Kids will learn to integrate singing and dancing in performances, enhancing their spontaneity and creativity.

In 2022, the charming children’s book A Hen-Made Tale was introduced to the world. Last year, it was transformed into a musical, and now the story takes on a new life as a vibrant dance production. The National Library has even purchased over 500 copies of the book for nationwide distribution, highlighting its popularity.

Get ready for A Hen-Made Tale, the Dance! This 60-minute performance is packed with lively hens, roosters, and mischievous cats. The cats will be sneaky and sly, trying to outsmart the hens, while the hens will respond with graceful pirouettes, high-energy leaps, and playful prances. And, of course, the roosters will strut their stuff, blissfully unaware of the chaos around them.

The World Ballet Trial is an international ballet competition that started as Tokyo Stage in 2016 under the auspices of Asia Ballet Agency. Dream Work Production shares the same vision of this competition and is pleased to present The World Ballet Trial (TWBT) Malaysia Stage in cooperation with Asia Ballet Agency.

TWBT- Malaysia Stage competition is aimed at dancers who are serious about ballet. Aiming to be a "place" that provides opportunities for leap forward to the world,

It was founded with this in mind.

TWBT collaborates with ballet masters, ballet companies and ballet schools around the world, with a panel of experienced judges, we will be a strict judge.

They provide a comprehensive workshop for dancers and they also provide the opportunity to join study abroad programs for the future of dancers. They provide opportunities for you to participate in performances and more.

Following the success of Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet, KLSP brings another fun, entertaining and captivating storytelling of Shakespeare’s masterpiece: The Tempest.
In the 60-minute performance, three storytellers use puppets and projections to create an enchanted island. They reveal a tale of magic, revenge, love, and forgiveness, interacting with the audience throughout the show.
Together with the storytellers, the audience will create a storm, sing Ariel’s song, join in with the fairy feast and laugh at the antics of Caliban and the sailors. After the performance, the audience will discover that they have learnt key lines from the play, enabling them to retell the tale and even connect to the moral lessons drawn from the story.

After many years, Sutra Foundation has returned to the contemporary stage, blending rich Asian perspectives with modernity, continuing its legacy of redefining Malaysian dance. Over four decades, Sutra has not only been synonymous with Indian classical dance but has also boldly ventured into the contemporary dance scene, creating works that resonate with the modern Malaysian soul.

“Hello!

I am the fairy godmother. I am the person to call on when you are in an emergency situation and I only come out in desperate times, and I watch over those people who are kind at heart, honest and good in nature.

When you are lost I, fairy godmother will give you some sound advice, point you in the right direction and just help you get on with your life, a better life

With regards to Cinderella, oh she is such a darling. I mean, as a fairy godmother, I'm not supposed to say this, but she is my favourite fairy godchild, honest, kind-hearted and overall a very good person who only sees good in other people. It's sometimes unfortunate that bad things befall her and sometimes I feel like I need to step in and you know. even things out just a little better for myself Cinderella.

My biggest struggle right now as the fairy godmother is when trying to convince Cinderella's best friend who is desperately in love with Cinderella, that he has the potential to be a very great friend, but not a lover partner to Cinderella. And he has to realize that he has more than just kindness and love to give to Cinderella. He is much bigger than that. That is my biggest struggle in this fairy tale.

Also, it's been long since I flew here and there. So I’m getting familiar with my wings again and flying. When you come and watch the play, you might see me struggling a little bit with my flying.

What I hope to accomplish with this fairytale is, that I wish to inspire people that you know, you do have the courage to do what you want. You do have the confidence, it is all within you. You just need to unleash and be free. And that is what I accomplished to do with all my fairy godchildren. I don't know if it's funny or weird but everybody keeps making jabs or jokes about my size as a fairy godmother.

I have, you know that I am a pretty pretty, pretty average size fairy godmother and when I went to the Fairy God Academy, I was one of the smallest ones out there. So, I don't know why people have this imagination or preconception that yo,u a fairy godmother need to be a fashionable woman.

Even like most supermodels like no, no, no, no, no, a fairy godmother needs to be tough. The rigorous training and the magic spells that must be cast. That's all physical activity that requires muscles. And I do believe that it's a norm for a fairy godmother to be my size. So yeah.”
