On the very last day of the Chinese New Year (or Chap Goh Mei), we were thrilled to be a part of inDrive Malaysia’s Exclusive Chinese New Year Media Luncheon, where we were able to look back on the achievements by inDrive Malaysia in 2024, and also share the outlook and goals of 2025.

With energetic lion dances and an amazing Chinese New Year feast, we were also graced by the presence of inDrive’s new Macroregional Director for APAC, Mark Tolley, where he was able to share inDrive’s future plans and trends of the e-hailing industry.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitudes to the media guests that attended the luncheon and we hope this is just the beginning of another fruitful year together with inDrive Malaysia! Ninja Van Malaysia has launched an e-guide, titled "From Malaysia to Southeast Asia: A Practical Guide for E-commerce Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) Expanding Beyond Borders”, aimed at helping Malaysian businesses expand into Southeast Asia's dynamic e-commerce landscape.

The e-guide was developed in collaboration with market research firm Milieu Insight, following a survey of 1,200 shoppers across six Southeast Asian countries – Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, The Philippines, and Indonesia – conducted in November 2024.

Ninja Van’s latest offering, the cross-border delivery service for SMEs, is a game-changer. This e-guide equips businesses with essential tools and insights to master logistics, navigate complex regulations, and meet market demands across the region, empowering Malaysian SMEs to expand seamlessly into Southeast Asia's thriving markets.

A big thank you to the incredible panellists — Jeremy Hong (Ninja Van), Yienyee Soh (EasyStore), Marcus Lim (Milieu Insight), and Sam Zhang (CPXi) — for sharing valuable knowledge on how businesses can grow regionally. We were thrilled to be part of Xiaomi’s exciting launch event on 10th January 2025, where they introduced their latest innovations, including the Redmi Note 14 Series, Redmi Buds 6 Series, Redmi Watch 5, Xiaomi Power Bank 10000 Series, and much more! From the impressive 200MP camera on the Pro models from the series to the super sleek and functional wearables, there’s so much to love about these new products. The Power Bank 10000 Series is a game-changer for on-the-go charging too!

What made this event extra special? We brought some media to Sunway Lagoon before the official launch, where they had the chance to test out the Redmi Note 14 Series in the park, putting its durability features to the test in a fun, real-world setting! Plus, there was even a durability test with the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G at the experience zone — a real crowd-pleaser!
