Another good day at Kuala Gandah elephant sanctuary.
Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, which was set up by the Malaysian Wildlife Society. It's the base of the Department of Wildlife and National Parks Elephant Relocation team, which assists in the capture and relocation of rogue elephants from across Southeast Asia.
Begin with a 25-minute video documentary on the National Parks Elephant Relocation Team’s conservation activities and programs in an air-conditioned audio-visual theater. The informative presentation allows us to have a better understanding of the work conducted at the center, the duty of the team’s trained elephants, and the responsibility of the rangers when they are out in the field conducting wild elephant relocations.
Then, take a 5-minute walk to the elephant enclosure where five rehabilitated elephants are kept. Learn about the important role the elephant sanctuary plays in ensuring the survival and well being of these majestic animals, and observe the elephants as they're cared for my professionals from the sanctuary.

It was nothing mundane at all for Mr. Mohammed Oudah Aljohani & his family from SA during their excursion to Kuala Selangor. Among others, we stop to "pick" up Palm Oil seeds , experienced hot springs stop over including dipping, stop over at a mosque for prayers. All were exhausted and a deserving quick nap while on our way back to town. Thank you Mr. Mohammed for the memorable excursion.
