SoundKontrols DJ Academy was established in 2010 in order to train good and quality Professional DJs with the highest standards. The academy specializes in using Vinyls and Digital Vinyl System to train all DJs. The Academy also ensures all students are trained on how to handle the crowd using the mic. All courses are taught with highest standards within the entertainment industry. We also assist

our graduates from the academy with job placement by placing them with the right entertainment outlet. At our Academy all courses are taught 1 on 1 by Certified Professional DJ instructors with full state of the art equipment. Regardless of your level of skill or music genre preference, we will customize and tailor the course accordingly.The courses available as beginner, intermediate and advance levels whereby students can gain a structured course curriculum. The courses we offer are:

DJ 101 – DJ for Beginners

DJ 102 -Advanced Mixing

DJ103- Live Mixing

DJ104- Turntabalism with Scratching

DJ 105- Beat Juggling

DJ 201 - Music & Groove Production

SoundKontrols DJ Academy is the ONLY DJ training school in the country that actively encourages students to move from bedroom DJing to playing out live in a club or events. Students will also receive a full set of course notes and a certificate of completion. Depending on where you want to take your DJ skills we’ll teach you to scratch and perform in front of a large crowd. Our instructors teach students on the proper usage of a microphone and tips on how to keep a dance floor full, marketing your nights and how to deal with club management or promotions agents. SoundKontrols DJ Academy is the only DJ Academy in Malaysia that requires the students to complete a theoretical multiple choice exam and practical non stop mix before they are awarded a Certificate of Completion for all courses. The Academy also help the students with building their DJ Portfolio and Mixtape. We also create network links to other DJ's and organisations that may be able to help them in the future because we believe that the aftercare is just as important as the course. SoundKontrols DJ Academy’s certified instructors are icons and known in the entertainment with many years of Club & Mobile DJ experience. They have played at some of the biggest events in Malaysia and across the continent. The collective knowledge and experience our instructors span more than 60 years in total. At SoundKontrols DJ Academy we pride ourselves to train students and be part of SoundKontrols DJ Academy Alumni.

We teach toddlers, kids, teenagers and adults on the Wheels of Steel(Turntables). Back to Basics. Absolutely No CDJs or MIDI controllers for now. #realdjsplayvinyl
