Our Story

Uniq Food Trading is a food trading company established in August 1999. The company is primarily engaged to provide Halal Full Moon catering services in the Klang Valley vicinity. It is one of the earliest to provide such services in the Klang Valley and its brand name UNIQ™ is synonymous to baby full moon. In 2003, it entered a joint venture to open its first branch in Klang, Selangor. In the same year, another branch was opened in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan by licensing agreement. Now it has almost 21 years’ experience specializing in baby full moon catering services.

In March 2004, Citarasa Uniq Sdn Bhd was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 as a public limited company. Rempah Ratus Restaurant & Café, an 83-seating trendy dining outlet was opened in May 2005, at Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor. Operated by Citarasa Uniq Sdn Bhd, Rempah Ratus has also catered for indoor and outdoor private functions, business & social events.

In December 2005, a production center was set-up at Taman Perindustrian Puchong, Selangor to increase production capacity. Aside from being a central kitchen supplying its internal customers (full moon, catering, cafeterias and food court), this production center also supplies Halal premium packed food to several long-haul bus coaches companies.

In May 2009, Uniq Catering Services was set-up at Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor to concentrate in providing full catering service.
