Hi, My name is Anil. Those of you who are laughing by now understands that in Tamil, Anil means Squirrel, hence the birth of my delivery cafe, Pak Tupai Delivery Cafe which leaves a lingering question as to what’s the poor squirrel got to do with the cafe’s name. Well Squirrel means “Tupai” in Bahasa Malaysia. Yes, I know..its interesting how I like to jump around with my name like a squirrel. ;-)
Have you ever craved like a pregnant lady for your favourite food?.Like, just sitting on your couch and the image of Pisang goreng comes up or during Hari Raya the mouth watering taste of beef rendang with smokey lemang just dances through the air. Then, breaking that thought by feeling frustrated that you can’t make that FAVOURITE you so want to taste or you have failed in making it before and really don’t want to attempt to cook it yourself as the dissatisfactory feel and image would be engraved in your thoughts? What’s more is that driving to a known place with all the hustle and bustle buying your craving and heading home and eventually just forgetting that mouth watering image you really had sitting on your couch...
The squirrel knows you know, I know how you feel. So Pak Tupai thought he will try to fulfil your orders for you to savour that moment by yourself or with your family and more over Pak Tupai has delivery services ;-)
Pak tupai does not want to be jumping from dishes to dishes and eventually fall into a hole where low quality food is served. Therefore, Pak Tupai will introduce traditional FAVOURITES ONLY.
