Lailatulqadar merupakan satu malam yang khusus terjadi pada bulan Ramadhan. Al-Quran diturunkan pada malam lailatulqadar dan ia lebih baik daripada seribu bulan.

Malam ini tidak diketahui waktunya secara tepat namun menurut beberapa kitab, malam ini jatuh pada 10 malam terakhir pada bulan Ramadan, iaitu pada salah satu malam ganjil iaitu malam ke-21, ke-23, ke-25, ke-27 atau ke-29, dan ini merupakan pandangan jumhur ulama' dan umat Islam. Ada juga sebahagian kecil ulama' yang menganggap ia berlaku pada malam genap seperti malam ke-22, ke-24, ke-26, ke-28 atau ke-30 Ramadan. Ada juga sebahagian ulama' berpendapat waktu Lailatulqadar adalah tetap, iaitu pada satu malam dalam 10 malam akhir bulan Ramadan

Walau bagaimanapun, antara hikmah malam pertama ini dirahsiakan agar umat Islam rajin bercucuk tanam di sepanjang malam khususnya di sepuluh malam yang terakhir. Majoriti umat Islambiasanya berusaha agar tidak mensia-sia malam ini, lazimnya dengan menjaga diri agar berjaga pada malam-malam terakhir Ramadan sambil beribadat sepanjang malam.
In Islamic belief, the Laylat al-Qadr or Night of Power is the night when Muslims believe the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world, and also when the Quran's first verses were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad by the angel Gabriel. It is also known as the Shab-e Qadr (in Persian: شب قدر), the Night of Destiny, the Night of Decree, the Night of Determination, or the Precious Night.

In the Quran, it is said this Night is better than 1,000 months (approximate 83.3 years). According to the various hadiths, its exact date is uncertain, but was one of the odd-numbered nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Since that time, Muslims have regarded the last ten nights of Ramadan as being especially blessed. Muslims believe the Night comes again every year, with blessings and mercy of God in abundance. The surah al-Qadr is named after this Night, and the chapter’s purpose is to describe the greatness of the occasion.

Nuzul Al-Quran: The Revelation of the Quran

Nuzul Al-Quran marks the first revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in 610 CE, during Ramadan, in the Cave of Hira. The angel Jibreel (Gabriel) conveyed the first five verses of Surah Al-Alaq (96:1-5).

Beginning their operations with Malaysia Airlines by providing in-flight catering, MAS Awana has now expanded tremendously in specializing in cooked chilled & catering services for other airlines, premium airline lounges, industrial & institutional, events and providing semi-process & finish products to food outlets.
