After several months of preparation, UUM Public Speaking Tournament 2022 is about to kick off.
The contestants from all the universities in Malaysia are ready for this long-awaited opportunity.

跃破天荒，劈波斩浪。
第五届北大演说家之《咏·跃》正式拉开帷幕！
通过主题《咏·跃》，所带出的‘咏’有说、抒发的意思，也可以代表着演说；然而‘跃’代表着飞跃、跃进、跃跃欲试，也就是进步的意思。两者合一代表着的就是本届的主题方向 ——【演说赋予进取精神】。
进取精神指向的是努力进步的态度。进取其实就是积极上进、力图有所作 为，也可以理解为是不止步于此，每一个人都应该要有进取的精神。在不断进步的过程中，我们会发现自身的思维与想法都能够得到提升，从而看得更广，走得更远。
第五届北大演说家将会以四个目标作为本届主题的里程碑和基准，巩固主题的方向与概念。一，提供大专生一个良性竞争的平台展现演说能力。二，培养大专生的进取心，同时呼吁时刻保持进取心。三，提升大众的思维能力，运用并实践在生活中。四，倡导大专生打破旧习，勇于创新。
第五届北大演说家之《咏·跃》的主题徽章是一只蓝鲸，经过充满想象力的形态变化，以脸部轮廓代表演说元素，再以鲸鱼赋予“跃”的生命力，让演说的力量激起层层浪花。徽章设计稳重而不失动感，采用蓝色系色调，沉稳而理智，是勇敢与进取的色彩。

UUM Public Speaking Tournament, Speakuencer 2021: Hymns to the Skylark will be introducing our most respected mentors as well as the judges for the Finals :
The First Judge, the beauty queen of Malaysia, Dr. Soo Wincci.
The Second Judge, the technical director of Memory Sport Council of Malaysia, Mr. Ken Wong Chern Yet.
And The Third Judge, a psychologist and a member of American Psychological Association
, Dr. Wong Kok Fye.
