The name Vinatuw was derived from the Rungus language which brings the meaning of woven product or (hasil anyaman) in Malay language.
The product material is mainly made from strapping bands, which usually was used commercially to tie boxes or pallets to secure any product delivery. However, the production of this material has evolved due to high demand for it to be more colourful and softer which is what VinatuwBag is currently using.
We started as a hobby making basket, but one day we realised how versatile this material is as we can recreate almost every type of handbag/bag the market can offer. To add to our own amazement, this material is very durable and it is what everyone would want. Thus 4 years ago, we created this brand. Vinatuw Bag
For us, this material is more than just a basket/bakul. Handbag, sling bag, tote bag, purse, clutch, wallet, pouch, backpack, display tray, phone purse, keychain, dustbin, school backpack with tyres, handcarry luggage and even "Barait" are among the products that we have done before.

Our aim is to inspire young people to reach their entrepreneurial dreams, to provide opportunities for young people to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and learn crucial skills such as teamwork, networking, problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation, and self-discipline.
There will be two sections within the market for children and teenagers aged 7 to 19 to participate in the youth market. We want to encourage our youth to be productive during their 2-week school holiday to create a brand, develop a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and provide them with a hands-on experience at our two-day market.
