Fondly known as Jozi’s King of Swing Michael Lesar burst onto the scene as co-founder and resident DJ of the legendary DeepHeet Parteez (2002-2012) which fast became one of the premium events on the Cape Town House Scene, firmly establishing him as a prominent figure within the genre.
In 2009 Michael moved to Johannesburg and cemented himself as a firm favourite on many festival and event line -ups with a loyal following.
Michael’s DJ sets are instantly recognizable by his distinct signature dirty bass line style and knows all about jam packed, hip swinging head banging dance floors having spread his magic at events / festivals around the world. His love for a variety of genres translates to an affection for long extended sets.
This exposed him to parties across musical genres, which led to him playing at festivals and events across South Africa such as Origin (CT), Earthdance (CT), Vortex, Mieliepop Festival, Park Acoustics, H20, Fucha Gatherings, Mozamboogy Beach Festival - Mozambique, Balkanology, One Fest, Thornfest, Capital Craft Festival, Smoking Dragon Festival (Drakensburg ) Obs Festival (CT), Tswaing Crater Gathering, Grietfest, Cherry Festival, F.O.R.R Festival - Mozambique, Oppikoppi Festival, Strab Festival Mozambique, Sowing the Seeds Festival, Holi One Color Festival .

Born and raised in the small town of Benoni, Johannesburg. DJing and playing at parties, clubs and events across South Africa.
