Storie van n lewe... n Boervrou s’n

Ek is nie een vir skryf nie, maar hier gaan ek:
My lewe opgesom in een foto...eenvoud.
My seëninge almal saam. My man, my kinders, die belofte van reën, n kalf en n kraal vol beeste. Wow. Net gistermiddag het die trane vlak gelê. Ek het die wolke gesien en die reën gevoel, maar dit was nie vir ons beskore nie. Hosea kom toe by my op.

God het Hosea se huwelik vergelyk met die Isrealiete se verhouding met Hom. Want sien, hulle het vir Baäl die eer gegee vir die seëninge uit God se hand. Die vrugbare grond, die mooi klere, die spoggerige besittings ens. Wie kry toe die eer? Al wat God gehoop het was dat sy volk weer hulself verdiep in hul geloof en weg draai van die afgode af.
En dit oorweldig my. Dankbaarheid vir my mede boere wat reën kry. Want hulle mielies begin ook al draai. Ek glo en vertrou ons s’n sal nog kom.
Daardie aand het ons toe wel 12mm gekry.
Wie kry die eer?
My God!
Ek het my perspektief verander van myself na God. En dan kyk ek weer na die foto...eenvoud is goud.🙌🏻
