Sjoe...ek voel so skuldig.

It's been a while since I've posted on this page, but I promise it's been for good reason. As the seasons change, so does our lives. We, as a family have been in a transitioning phase of homeschooling kids, becoming soccer and gymnastics parents, going from being employed to becoming self employed and even growing a new family member. God has taken us through this phase with so much grace, and He has made it adamant that we reevaluate our time.

At this point in time, we have decided to slow down, and this means BabyK Events has to slow down too. During these past months, I have deliberately referred my clients elsewhere because the pace at which I was working was too high. I realised that I can only do so much, and that this season requires me to focus on my family.

I apologize to those whom I have had to refer elsewhere, and also apologize to those which I might not have returned any messages but I hope you understand.

I am not at place where I will completely close BabyK. I will just be a bit more selective on when and what type of setups I do. My equipment (backdrops and event decor) will also be to hire if I can't do the setups myself. I will also continue to create custom gifts for BabyK Boutique so don't hesitate me to contact me for those.

It's an exciting time for us. My husband has started his own Transport, Tours and Safari business, Koopman Tours & Safari so please contact him for any transport needs that you might have. All of these things have been such tremendous blessings from our Father and it is only through Him that we are are able.

Now that I have said what's on my heart, I just want to thank everyone for the support you have shown my family. May God bless you, and may He continue to guide us.

My man se breë skouers staan vir niks verkeerd nie. Of dit nou ballone opblaas, stene rond dra of selfs n backdrop van scratch af maak. Hy grap soms dat hy net BabyK se werker is, maar tenminste sorg ek dat hy goed beloon word vir sy dienste 😉🥰

God het ons twee baie verskillende rolle gegee in die huwelik, en waneer die twee in perfekte harmonie saamwerk word daar groot en wonderlike dinge bereik. Nie vir ons nie, maar vir Sy glorie! Wat n groot geskenk is dit nie om iemand tehê wat jou so bystaan, so ondersteun en met wie jy die lewe saam kan deel nie. n Groot vooreg.

Baie dankie my lief vir alles wat j vir my en ons kinders doen. Jy is beslis baie meer as n werker, jy is BabyK se baas ❤️

It was another day for a beautiful backdrop!

Have been rather quiet on this page, simply because my time is mostly dedicated to my family and my home. I've found that whenever I've done an event over the weekend, I try to make up for the time spent away from home being present with my husband and children and getting our house back on track. And so, days, weeks, even months go by without me posting any of my work.

This is okay. God has given me so much peace concerning this. I simply do what I can, and trust God to the rest. He has been so faithful and all that I do I want to do for His glory!

As our business is growing, we are now registered with all the relevant authorities, and can thus improve and expand our services to private as well as corporate clients.

10 days "til Christmas! 🎄
Orders have closed, I am working hard to get all my orders done by this weekend so that I too can spend some quality time with my family.

Looking back at the year, I am in awe of God! The talents and abilities He has given me to start and continue to grow in my business, the fact that I can still be home with my children is in itself a dream. I am so grateful!

Thank you firstly to Abba Father for His goodness, His faithfulness throughout the year and His never ending grace! I am still learning amd growing everyday! Thank you to everyone of my clients for all the support! Every order, party and backdrop has blessed us as a family and I can't say thank you enough! Burned out! That is what I felt. The past few months, days have been incredibly busy and if you know me, I will go above and beyond to not disappoint. But inevitably I cannot please everyone.

I want to take the time to apologize to those who have been waiting...waiting for a quote, a call, feedback on pictures. Running a business, raising kids, maintaining a home and being a wife (helpmeet) comes with its challenges and sometimes, I let the ball slip. I have taken some time to visit my parents and take time off BabyK just to clear my head and regain strength. I already know the hectic season approaching us, and I needed to breath before heading back.

God has given me so much perspective lately and as my business is growing, so God is continuing to supply in all of my needs. Without Him, I cannot and refuse to go forward...but Oh...with Him...you better watch out! Bigger, better and greater! To Him, that is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or think, to Him be my business and the glory for ever!
