BASICS ABOUT THE ANTHURIUM:
Region:
- Native to Central & Southern America.
- To be more presice: Colombia & Ecuador.
Natural habitat:
- They grow on trees in the rain forests.
- They grow best in shady spots & in temperatures between 16-22 degrees Celsius.
Commercial name:
- Tailflowers, flamingo flowers or pigtail plants.
Farmers/Exporters:
- Biggest farmers & exporters of anthuriums are: Netherlands & Indonesia.
FLOWER DETAILS:
Flower:
- The “colourful heart-shape” is not actual flower but only a shield-like leave which protect the real flower: The spadix.
Bloom:
- The Anthurium plant can rebloom all year round when maintained correctly. The flower lasts up to 8 weeks.
Vase Life:
- 7-10 Days

- All year round, for Namibians.

Here are some cool facts about the Stargazer lily🌸:
• Region:
Native to Northern America, Europe and Asia. Specifically Japan and North America.
• Commercial name:
Stargazers(Pink)
• Scientific Name:
Oriental Lilies, Lilium.
Lilium 'Stargazer' is a hybrid lily of the 'Oriental group'.
• Umbelatum Lilies:
Stargazers should not be incorrectly identified as umbellatum lilies.
Stargazers is much larger in size and has a premium look, smell.
• Vase Life:
10-14 days
•Availability:
All year round for Namibians.
•Extend their Vase life:
- Keep them in clean water.
- Keep out of the sun.
- Cut the stems by 2cm every 2-3 days.
• History & origin:
Stargazer Lily was first developed around 1978 by Leslie Woodruff.
To breed the Stargazer, he cross-pollinated the Asiatic and Oriental Lily, resulting in these lilies.
• Poisonous to Cats:
A simple contact with their pollen or their leaves might harm your cats, even killing them.
• Cuisine:
The edible part of a lily is belowground, in the form of a bulb.
Onions and garlic are edible versions of bulbs - as are lily bulbs!
Lily bulbs are a traditional food in East Asian countries, such as China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

They are commonly adapted to either woodlands, mountains, and sometimes to grassland habitats.
