HOW TO MAKE (TIGER NUT DRINK)

Ingredients :
๐Ÿ“Œ2 cups of Tiger Nuts (Dried or Fresh)
๐Ÿ“Œ 1 medium Ginger
๐Ÿ“Œ10 Dates (Or less)
๐Ÿ“Œ1 Coconut (Crack the shell and extract the flesh for blending)

Directions:

Step 1:
Soak the tiger nuts in clean water Overnight (if you are using the dry tigernuts)

Step 2:
Rinse the soaked tigernuts and place in a blender.
- Remove the seeds from the dates, wash and place in the blender.
- Peel and pour your diced coconut in the blender as well then add the skinned ginger, a little water or the coconut water and blend smooth.

Step 3:
With a Pap/Cheese cloth, strain the milk into a bowl.
-The first milk strained would be thick then you place the chaff back into the blender, add some more water, blend & strain again till the whole milk is extracted.
(Don't make the kunu aya too light for a better taste)

Step 4:
Place the extracted milk drink in a refrigerator to chill up.

Step 5:
Serve cold๐Ÿ˜Š

Flour - 2 Cups(250g)
Sugar - 1/3cup (75g)
Nutmeg powder - 1 tsp
Milk Powder - 1 & 1/2 tbsp
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Instant Yeast - 1&1/2 tbsp
Lukewarm water - 1 cup( add water gradually to control consistency)
Procedures:

Step 1 :Sieve flour in a dry clean bowl, and add sugar , milk , salt , nutmeg and yeast .
Step 2 : Mix till itโ€™s well combined.
Step 3 : Add water gradually and mix till itโ€™s lumps free .
Step 4 : Cover with a clean kitchen towel or cling film ( cover with anything that wonโ€™t allow air into it) .
Step 5 : place it in a warm place to proof for About 45mins - 1 hr
Step 6 : It will double in size after proofing, then deflate it by mixing it again, scoop with your hand and deep fry in a hot oil .

INGREDIENTS
3 Cups flour
185g butter room temperature
ยผ cup milk
1 egg
1ยฝCup icing sugar
ยผ tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract

METHOD

*In a large bowl,sift together flour and salt,mix and set aside
*In a seperate bowl,beat butter and icing sugar until pale and creamy
*Add one egg and beat for about 3 min
*Add milk and vanilla extract ,mix
*Gradually add flour to the butter mixture and mix properly
*Place batter in pipping bags with different noozles
*Pipe batter in a greased and lined baking tray
*Place the tray in fridge and chill for 30m(cookies wont loose their shape when baking)
*Bake in preheated oven at 180ยฐC until golden brown...

CHOCOLATE COTTON CAKE

Ingredients:
80ml of milk
60ml vegetable oil
70g of flour
10g cocoa powder
4 egg whites
4 egg yolks
70g of sugar
1/3 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Chocolate chips
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix the milk, oil, flour and egg yolks. Divide into two portions and add cocoa powder to the second portion.
2. In another bowl, beat the egg whites with salt, lemon juice, and sugar.
3. Divide the white and dark mixtures into two portions.
4. Transfer to baking sheet, add dark mixture, top with white mixture, and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
5. Bake in hot water at 170ยฐC (340ยฐF) for 1 hour

Nice fondant recipe
Ingredients
โ˜…1kg of icing sugar
โ˜…3tbsps of Liquid glucose
โ˜…2tbsps of gelatin
โ˜…1tbsp of cmc
โ˜…10 tbsp of water

Procedure
โ˜… measure 10 tbsp of water in a bowl
โ˜…add gelatin to it and allow it to rest for 1minute
โ˜…place the gelatin content in a pot of boiling water and stir till it dissolves
โ˜…after it has dissolved, add your liquid glucose and stir till it's well incorporated
Remove the bowl containing the mixture
Note: if you want a coloured fondant, add the colour at this point in the mixture and stir for a perfect outcome
โ˜… in a big bowl, sieve icing sugar together with cmc
โ˜…transfer the gelatin mixture to the icing sugar and mix( if the water is not enough, add a drop of water till you get the right consistency)
โ˜… transfer fondant to a work surface dusted with corn flour and knead for 40 minutes until stretchy

*Recipe for smooth crunchy peanut*
Groundnut--3cups
Flour-750g
Eggs-4
Baking powder-1ยฝteaspoon
Sugar--1cup
Flavor-1teasp
Milk--2tbs (optional)

*Procedure*
When you want to get a well done groundnut inside your peanut, you wash your groundnut, add little salt and sun dry very well before making use of it.
Due to the raining season we are, I advice we fry our groundnut or buy already fry ones to use( reason been that so the groundnut inside won't be half done and you don't need to fry it to brown before removing it). After frying the groundnut, peal the back and remove the broken ones, set aside.

In another bowl, sieve your flour (750g) add baking powder (1ยฝteaspoon).

Note: you can also make it without baking powder but the size won't be really big because baking powder serve as a raisin agent. Mix the flour and BP together.

In another bowl, break in your eggs and whisk to be foamy.
Then add your sugar (1cup), Flavour (1ts),milk (2tb).
Note: If you are using power milk you dilute it with water before measuring it into the egg. Whisk well till it's foamy and creamy.

In the bowl, pour in your groundnut, add two spoon( normal eating spoon) of the egg mixture and mix, not with hand but be shaking the groundnut bowl in a clockwise direction after some seconds add in your flour, just a hand full and please sprinkle the flour not on one place oo. Be fast about it so the groundnut won't stick to the bowl.
Keep turning and just be adding two spoon each of your egg and sprinkle the flour, till your 750g of flour and 4 eggs is finish, then you allow it to rest for 15 mins before frying it on a low heat.
Allow the oil to hot before putting in your peanut. How to know if your oil is hot, drop one of the peanut and give it some seconds if it comes up then the oil is hot and ready to fry.

*NOTE* Don't allow your peanut to be brown in the oil once you see it have started changing to cream colour remove it, cos when it get cool, it will bring out the brownish colour.

METHOD
Pour your Flour in a mixing bowl add your butter, icing sugar and coco powder
Mix very well to get a stiff dough
Wrap in a cling film and put in the fridge to rest for 20mins
Unwrap your dough and knead a little on a smooth surface or table
Roll with a rolling pin and cut out desired shapes with cutters of your choice
Put them in your greased baking try and bake in a moderate oven

METHOD
Put your flour,butter,yeast and sugar in your mixer add your milk flavour,milk and egg lastly pour in your 1cup of water continue mixing until you get a smooth stretchy consistency.
Return to your table and cut in equal sizes
Roll in round shapes and allow to rise
Glaze with egg and bake in a moderate oven of 360 degree fereheit

SHORTENING BASE FROST RECIPE

Ingredients:
Icing sugar 1kg
Shortening 350g (shortening not white fat or white butter)
Water or liquid milk 4tbsp
Flavours 1/4tsp milk emulsion and 1/4tsp vanilla (remix)

Procedure:
In a clean and dry bowl, measure the shortening fix it to the mixer and mix for 5 to 7 minutes.

Gradually incorporate the sieved icing sugar bit by bit followed by the water or milk. One spoon at a time. Repeat till you finish adding everything.

Add flavours and allow to combine properly. You can add colour of choice or leave it as white.

CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE
Flour 250g
Sugar 300g
Eggs 2
Baking powder 1/2 tbsp
Baking soda 1 tsp
Cocoa powder 4tbsp (unsweetened)
Salt 1tsp
Milk 250ml
V.oil 125ml
Vanilla flavour 1tsp
Boiled water 200ml

Procedure:
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, add sugar oil, milk and flavour mix together, whisk the eggs and add it to the mixture.

Finally add the boiled water.

Line your 8" pan with baking paper or any pan of your choice (you can use A4 paper)

Bake in a preheated oven for 30-45mins

This will give you about 3 by 8inches cake.

If you can't go through the stress of lining your pan, allow the cake cool completely before bringing it out from the pan. Otherwise, the cake go scatter o.๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘‚

COMMERCIAL CUPCAKE RECIPE
Ingredients:
500g Flour
350g Sugar
500g Butter
450g Eggs
1Tablespoon Baking Powder
2 Teaspoon Butterscotch flavour
2 Teaspoon vanilla Flavour
1/2 Tablespoon Preservative.

Gives you 70 pieces queens cupcakes for N50

METHOD

1) Grease your Cupcakes Pans with Butter or oil and flour it or use cupcakes Liners.
2) Pre-heat your Oven.
3) Sieve the Flour in a Mixing Bowl and Pour your ingredients in the bowl at once. (Butter, eggs, Baking powder, Sugar, preservatives and flavour

4) Set your Timer for and Switch your Mixer, Enter to High Speed and Cream it then you Stop. The batter will be very fluffy and almost white in colour.
5) Pour in your mixture in a prepared Cupcakes Pan and Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Note: CUPCAKES doesn't take time to bake.
6) Allow it to cool completely before removing the CAKE from pans.
7) Put on a tray, cover with a clean towel to prevent dryness allow to cool completely before Packaging it...

( CHOCOLATE AND WHIPPING CREAM RECIPE )

Step 1: Break or chop the chocolate into small pieces and set aside.

Step 2: In a saucepan/pot, add in the whipping cream and bring it to boil. Then turn off the heat.

Step 3: Bring out the hot whipping cream and pour in your chocolate. Mix the ingredients to combine well.

Note: Let the cake drip cool a little before using it to decorate on your chilled cake.

( CHOCOLATE AND OIL RECIPE )

Step 1: Break or chop the chocolate and put it in a stainless bowl.

Step 2: Place the bowl in a boiling water to dissolve the chocolate.

Step 3: Then add 1 or 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and mix to combine well. You cake drip is ready.

Step 1: In a bowl, add in your royal icing.

Step 2: Then add in the white vinegar bit by bit as you mix until you achieve your consistency of choice.

Step 3: Then add in your colouring of choice and mix to combine well.

Hello every one, its all about sprinkles.
Different colours of it.
Wants to share how it is made.
Ingredients needed are;
1. Icing sugar.
2.water.
3. Different colours of your choice. Note; its liquid

Procedures;
POUR the icing sugar in a bowl.
Start adding water, table spoon measurement. One after the other and stir it,if u add one table spoon measurement, u stir it.
For 500g of icing sugar, you will use four to five table spoon of water. Until its liquid/melt but not watering.
Divide it in a different bowls and add the colours, to each and every of them,and stir very well.
Pour it in a different piping bag that has a small hole. Keep your tray or parchment paper on the table and start making line with it on the tray or parchment paper.
When u are through, spread it on the sun to dry. Then break it into smaller piece and store it in a dried container and tie it very well for use.

Your home made sprinkle is ready.

Procedure , using a pot add water and allow to boil then add a stainless bowl inside then add your gelatine and water and mix thoroughly till it dissolves well then off the gas or stove then add gluecose and mix well till it melts ... Bring the bowl out and allow to cool before mixing it with the icing ... Cmc should be added to the icing but not all .. I add half of each recipe then while working with the fondant I can add half of the remaining half or all depending ..

White fondant-like Buttercream Recipe

Ingredients
1. Susan icing sugar
2. Shortening
3. Flavour
4. Water
5. Salt
6. Powdered milk (optional)
Measurement
1. 1kg Icing sugar
2. 300g shortening
3. ยฝTBSP of flavour
4. โ…“ cup of water
5. A pintch of salt
6. Milk as you wish.

[ ] Note: shortening can be referred to as white margarine.
Procedure:

โ€ข Pour the water into your mixing bowl
โ€ข Add the salt and flavour
โ€ข Add the shortening
โ€ข Mix at any volume of speed for 5 to 10minutes
โ€ข Then gradually add the icing sugar bit by bit
โ€ข Mix between 10 to 20minutes
โ€ข Please no extra water to avoid it being too soft and watery.

Green peas
Green peppers

Onion
1 tin milk
Seasoning

2 spoonful of sugar
Dices beef
Flour
Pepper

1. Dices potato very small, boil 10mins
2. Add green peas and boil
3. Sieve and allow it to cool
4. Beat the eggs till foamy, add milk, sugar, and whisk.
5. Add flour bit by bit very creamy but not thick
6. Add tomatoes, onion, pepper, green pepper.
7. Add diced beef
8. Add cooked potatoe with peas.
9. Stir ur mixture very well.
10. Grease your pan with cooking oil and pour in your mixture.

Cake Trimming

The first step in achieving a perfectly trimmed cake is to bake a cake that is at least 1 inch bigger than your original size.
For instance, bake a 9 inches cake if you want an 8 inches cake as your end product.
These are few cake trimming methods

1. Free hand Trimming: This is achieved with the aid of serrated knife or a sharp kitchen knife.
This method requires precision, focus and accuracy.

2. Cake board/Thick Carton:
Place a cake board/thick carton on top and bottom of your cake and use serrated or kitchen knife to trim to perfection.

3. Acrylic disc:
This is a very precise and easy tool to use. Get your preferred size and shape. place on your cake top and bottom then trim to perfection.
Compared to cake board and thick carton, acrylic disc has a very smooth and rigid edges hence no bending or folding while trimming your cakes.

4. Kitchen Grater:
Just place your well layered cakes on the exact board size and move your grater in a circular motion and at the same time moving from top to bottom.
Be careful not to overdo some sides cos this will mess with the exact shape of the cake.

PEPPERED/SPICY PUFF PUFF
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of Flour
1/4 cup of sugar
1/3Cup of water
1teaspoon of Yeast
1teaspoon of Flavor
1Sachect milk
Scotch Bonnet
Onion.

Jarvixposhempire RECIPE:
In a clean bowl add your already sieve Flour, Sugar, Yeast,Milk, Dice Pepper/Onion and Mix together with a spatula.
Then Start adding water bit by bit till you add everything, then mix for 2 minutes till everything is well combined and cover and keep it in a place warm for it to proof(Rise) for 45-1hour.

Once it has double in size, bring it out and mix together to remove any air trapped in the puff puff mixture.

Heat up oil for few minutes,once it's hot enough to fry, start cutting the Puff puff in small shape or as desired and use your handto press it out into the oil to give it a nice shape.
Once it's light golden brown remove and drain out the excess oil.. Mlumun Angel Jarvix Steve
