HOMEMADE BROWN SUGAR
Ingredients

Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup white sugar

- 1 tablespoon molasses (black treacle)

Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup white sugar

- 2 tablespoons molasses (black treacle)

Instructions
Combine sugar and black treacle in a mixing bowl. Using your fingertips rub in the black treacle until the treacle is completely incorporated and the sugar turns brown.

Store in an air-tight container for months.

Because of the moisture, brown sugar has a tendency to clump together, to prevent this add a slice of white bread in the container and that will keep the sugar dry and fine.

FLAT BREAD IN SARTEN 😋

Ingredients:

2 cups (300 gr of plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3-1/2 tablespoons (50 g) butter or margarine
3/4 cups of milk (185 ml)
1/2 tablespoon of peanut or sunflower oil to cook the breads

Preparation:

1. Mix butter and milk in a bowl. Microwave on low power so the butter just melts. You don't have to heat much.

2. In a bowl, mix the flour and the milk-butter mixture to form a dough. Turn onto a floured counter and knead for a few minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. It doesn't need a lot of kneading. Add a little more flour if the dough is too sticky.

3. Form a ball and wrap in kitchen film. Let stand 30 minutes on the kitchen counter.

4. After this rest time, flour the counter again and cut the dough into 4 portions. Form 4 balls and go forming circles the size of the pan you are going to use.

5. Heat a little oil in the pan, medium heat. Place one of the breads and cook for 2 minutes, it may bubble.

6. Flip the bread over and cook another 2 minutes on the other side. Press down with the slider in case it inflates a lot. Small brown spots should appear on both sides of the bread.

7. Go stacking the bread on a plate and covering with a kitchen towel. As an extra thing you can brush each bread with melted butter with crushed garlic

BUTTER BREAD 😋
Ingredients:
1 egg
150 ml of milk
80 grams of sugar
1 teaspoon bread yeast
300 grams of flour
Salt 1 teaspoon
Butter 2 tablespoons for dough
Butter to grease the layers
egg to brush
Preparation:
1. Add sugar, milk, salt and yeast to the egg. Mix. Add all the flour and mix. Cover with a towel and leave to rest for 20 minutes. Then turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Begin kneading, gradually adding the softened butter. Knead for at least 10 minutes. Then cover and leave for 20 minutes.
2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 2 mm thick. Grease with butter. Shape as shown in the video. Roll up and cut into pieces of 2 cm maximum. Divide in half and place in greased molds. Let rise for 1 hour.
3. Paint with egg and milk. Bake at 170 degrees for 20 minutes until golden.

Dear Baker💕

Here are 5 easy baking tips to ensure you have a beautiful Tuesday☺️👇

1- Never substitute baking soda and baking powder. They aren't exactly interchangeable, only use baking soda when an acid (like lemon or buttermilk) is added to the batter. Baking soda is much stronger than baking powder.

2- When baking cakes with fruits in them like banana, carrot, pumpkin or zucchini, let them sit overnight before serving them. This helps the flavor to meld together, and they are more tastier like that😋. Just make sure to cover with a polythene bag so it doesn't dry out.

3- When measuring flour, don't pack it down into the measuring cup, spoon it out of the flour bag and into the measuring cup. Packing it down into the measuring cup will add too much flour to your cake batter, that way your results won't be accurate.

4-Try to get your cold ingredients as close to room temperature as you can before mixing your cake batter. I'll advise you stick to room temperature ingredients, room temperature ingredients mix better than cold ingredients.

5- Don't slam the oven door, otherwise you'll jostle the cake inside and then you'll end up with a sinking cake.

BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients:

200 grams pomade butter (blend at room temperature)
120 grams of sugar
280 grams of wheat flour
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Preparation:

1. In a bowl start by mixing the butter with the sugar. Remember that butter must be at room temperature in order to work well with it. We blend in pretty well.

2. Once mixed, add in the teaspoon of vanilla essence.

3. We continue with the sifted flour. We run the flour through a sinker before putting it into the bowl. We blend in pretty well.

4. Now it's time to shape them up. The easiest thing is to make a roll as you see below with the help of paper film and put it in the fridge for 1 hour or so. From there on, we'll be "cutting slices" of more or less 1 cm and baking them.

5. Put them in a cut oven tray and bake them at 180° for about 11-12 minutes. The moment we see the edges starting to gold we take them out. If you see that they are soft don't leave them anymore because I once made that mistake, when they cool they harden. So don't worry if you touch one and see it soft

HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE HEAVY CREAM

Ingredients

3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup butter

Preparation

Melt the butter:
You can melt the butter on the stove, constantly stirring over medium heat, or melt it in the microwave by heating it for 10 seconds at a time.
Cut it into small pieces, so it melts faster.

Butter burns easily, so remove it from the heat when most of the butter has melted, and stir until the remaining portion has melted.

Pour the cooled melted butter Into the milk and stir.

Use your substitute in place of one cup of heavy cream: If you used low-fat milk, your mixture would be a bit thinner than you want it to be.

Just add a tablespoon of flour to thicken it.

HOW TO PROOF YEAST

Ingredients
> ½ cup of warm water

> 1 tablespoon of sugar

> 2 teaspoon of yeast

Procedure

Dissolve the yeast inside warm water, add the sugar and stir

Leave to 10 to 15 minutes to proof

If it's foamy and have small bubbles know that your yeast is active.

HOW TO MAKE ZEBRA PRINT FONDANT
- Start with the white fondant

- Roll it flat,big enough to cover the cake

- Btw, roll the fondant on a sheet of waxed paper…very important! If you don’t use waxed paper, your fondant has a good chance of being connected to your tabletop! It also makes it so much easier to lift, as seen.

- Then roll out a piece of black fondant thin using a paring knife to slice the black fondant into strips. Cut the strips in such a way that one end is pointed.

- Pick up the strips one at a time and place onto the white fondant

- Then continue until the entire circle of white fondant is covered.

- Then put a sheet of wax paper on top and rolled the two layers together.

- This pastry tool (rolling pin) works really well to smoothen it out

-To put it on the cake, flip it over using the wax paper on the top and bottom.

- Then roll the fondant onto the cake

- Smoothen it out and trim the edges…
