Anytime dis oyinbo chop finish, he go shout ''Hey'', so I wonder
wetin dey make am shout. I decided to chop wetin d oyinbo dey
always chop so maybe me self go shout too. When I reach d
restaurant yesterday evening, I order wetin d man dey chop. Dem
tell me say na chicken & red wine, so i chop am finish, i no shout.
I collect extra plate, but i no still shout. I say dis oyinbo na mumu
o, wetin dey make am shout like dat? Na so i just vex ask 4 my bill.
The waiter tell me say one plate of chicken & red wine na N75,000
then d extra plate too na another N75,000. Na then I shout hey!
heyy!! heyyy!!! heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Green Grape Glacier (non-
alcoholic)

Yummy!! If you are a fan of
green grapes this is the mocktail
for you. Wonderful for a morning
drink or an afternoon at the
beach, a Green Grape Glacier is a
luxurious treat and the frozen
grapes for the garnish are an
extra bonus.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 Drink
Ingredients:
12 seedless green grapes
4 ounces white grape juice
4 ounces cold sparkling water
Preparation:
1. Freeze the grapes until
hard.
2. Combine 10 frozen grapes
and grape juice in a blender
and process about 20
seconds, or until smooth
and thick.
3. Pour the grape mix into a
highball glass.
4. Add the sparkling water.
5. Stir gently.
6. Garnish with the remaining
2 frozen grapes.

cocktail around Basil Hayden's
bourbon as an homage to the
sweet fruit candies that were
once prevalent throughout the
southern United States. While this
isn't the quickest cocktail to
produce, if you are looking for a
unique way to celebrate
Independence Day, this may be
the drink for you. Redolent of
honey, peaches and pecans, this
drink is both tasty and complex.
Try one and let me know what
you think.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes
Yield: 1 Cocktail
Ingredients:
2 oz Basil Hayden's bourbon
1 1/2 oz Pecan Peach water
(see instructions below)
1 dash peach bitters
lemon twist, garnish
Preparation:
1. In a mixing glass, combine
all ingredients with ice.
2. Stir for 30 seconds.
3. Strain into a coupe glass
and garnish with a large
lemon twist
Pecan Peach water
Ingredients
1 quart of pecan pieces
2 peaches roughly chopped
2 quarts water
1/2 quart honey
Instructions
1. On a baking sheet, spread
pecans evenly and toast in a
300 degree preheated oven
for 15 minutes or until oils
begin to come out of the
pecans.
2. Bring water to a boil on a
stovetop.
3. Reduce to a simmer and
add honey and peaches.
4. Add pecan pieces to the
water & honey mixture and
allow to infuse for 30
minutes.
5. Remove from heat and let
cool.
6. Strain first through a
chinois then through a
coffee filter to remove
sediment and solids.
