Exactly one year ago, Alveena Events faced a devastating blow at Emerald Park, Garki Abuja. Land use changed, and we were evicted within 24 hoursβ€”abrupt displacement, a breach, and a brazen looting that emptied our property, with no compensation or government communication to address the act.

By God’s grace, we endured; our strength was renewed like an eagle. We were shaken but not broken. We adapted quickly and continue to rebuild the creative work that defines us. To the glory of God, we did not disappoint a single client; we pressed forward with renewed resolve, and the challenges only intensified our determination.

We honor those who stood with usβ€”friends, associates, mentors, and our esteemed clients who won’t do without Alveena.

We share this one-year reflection to remind ourselves and our supporters that, against all odds, we triumphβ€”when life gives lemons, we turn them into lemonade.
