ICT Expert-Odigie Declares Support for Delta Social Media Summit
An Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Expert and CEO/President of D.Sinatra.Ent Mr Odinigwe Daniel Odigie has declared support for the Delta Social Media Summit slated for August 2023 in Asaba.
Odigie while receiving the team led by Mr Ossai Ovie Success on a courtesy visit, said the initiative is a thoughtful one.
He said youths should think outside the box and be more effective by being creative and by looking for ways to contribute to the economy of the country and as well create jobs for others.
According to Odigie, Social media can be used in reorienting the mindset of the youths towards becoming better citizens and good ambassadors of the country.
He urged those using social media in defrauding people to desist from it as there are good ways of using social media in impacting the society.
The team led by Ossai said the social media summit will serve as a transformative platform to educate, inspire, and empower social media users in Delta State.
Members of the team who spoke appreciated Mr Odigwe for his contribution towards ICT development in the country, said the summit will address challenges faced by social media users in the state.
Some of the members are Mr Tomi Wujobula, Miracle Arimobi, Iyah Daniel, Chiedu Ikechukwu and Lilly Udeze Okolugbo .
