Re-echo His Word
Tuesday, June 5th
Pastor Chris
..For he (God) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6).
God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). But how do you make the necessary faith-connection with these blessings, in order to enjoy them in your personal life in this material world, since the blessings are spiritual? The Bible shows us how.
First, let’s review 1 Timothy 6:12: "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…." Here, we observe an important faith-principle; the principle of laying hold to intangible realities; that which is imperceptible to your physical senses, such as eternal life. Notice it didn’t say, "lay hold on the car, house, job or anything tangible." Rather, it says, "…lay hold on eternal life," which is an intangible reality; and the way to do this is through your faith-filled confessions!
The Greek rendering of the English word "confession" is "Homologia," which means to say the same thing in consent. You’re to lay hold on the realities of God’s Word by re-echoing what He has said concerning you in His Word.
Genesis 17 tells us, for example, how God changed Abraham’s name from Abram, "assumed father," to Abraham, "father of many." This happened at a time Abraham was yet to have any physical descendants; but he operated this same principle! He merely re-echoed what God had said about him, calling himself "father of many," irrespective of the fact that he was yet to have a child. Romans 4:20 says, "…he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God." He testified to the power and truth of God’s Word by boldly calling himself Abraham, "the father of many."
This is the same way you’re to accept, believe, and boldly confess what the Word says about your finances, career, health, family or ministry. That’s the way to ensure the blessings and reality of the Word come to pass in your personal life.
Prayer
Dear Father, I boldly declare that I live in joy, prosperity, health and peace continually. The blessings of the new creation, as revealed in your Word, are fulfilled in my life today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

2 Corinthians 4:18;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Hebrews 11:1
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
