Mama Christianah Iyabo Obanubi's funeral was a unique one. Her son, who is our client wanted something unusual. We got to understand his goals concerning the event and we have summarized them with the 5 points below:
1. Solid recommendations - Every vendor was highly recommended, either by us, the client or a trusted source known to us and/or the client. We were also highly recommended by a very good friend of our client.
2. Positive perceptions - The client was very intentional about the perceptions of every vendor, especially to be sure if the quality of their services aligned with his event objectives.
3. Content/Creativity - This was a big deal to our client. He wanted every aspect of the event to show creativity and generate content. One of the vendors that got hired just because of his Instagram content game is @longman_______ .
4. Personalized services - Our client is aware of how the regular events take place but he wanted something specifically packaged for his mum's funeral. From the graphics to the varieties of food to the itinerary of the event and every activity of the event. We had to create an experience that was based on our client's requests
5. Love for people/welfare - our client just wanted everyone to be happy, both young and old. He wanted everyone to feel loved and we did our best to make that happen.
We are so grateful for the privilege to plan, execute and manage this project in honor of Mama Obanubi. We enjoyed every bit of it.
