For the past one year, I’ve looked forward to this birthday with so much anticipation.
I still remember vividly not celebrating last year’s birthday, it was quiet, almost uneventful and all I could do was hope for a better tomorrow.
For many reasons, including the milestone age I’m clocking, this year felt special even before it arrived.
Now that it’s here, things aren’t perfect, far from it, but I’m deeply grateful for how far I’ve come, the growth I’ve experienced, and the person I’m becoming.
Life took a completely different turn, nothing like what I had planned, yet I’m thankful for the journey, the lessons, and the opportunities that have come my way.
All I can say is Alhamdulillah. Only He can, will, and is in control.
Interestingly, I had planned to do a birthday photoshoot this year, my first ever and even thought about unveiling my age. But plans almost changed.
No photoshoot. No big reveal.
Well, here we are🤭
This year, I feel different. I feel grown. I feel content.
When my brother asked a few weeks ago why I was being so intentional about this birthday, I told him, “I just want to thank God for the gift of life, ko easy.”
That’s the truth. I’m simply grateful for life, for progress, and for the better days I know are ahead.
Looking ahead, I strongly believe there’s so much more in store for me. I’m excited about what’s next and will be sharing some updates in the coming days.
Now more than ever, I’m optimistic about a better and brighter tomorrow.
As I celebrate another year on this journey, I pray that Allah eases my affairs, grants my heart’s desires, and makes my path smooth and fulfilling.
If this post crosses your timeline, please say a word of prayer for me and join me in thanking God for how far He has brought me.
Happy Birthday Oke Raliat (Rodiat) Kofoworola🙌😍

I’m super proud of the girl I was, the lady I am and the woman I’m becoming🤲😍.
May the smile on my face never dim🙏
