Recently, there have been lots of arguments about whether having a simple and small intimate wedding is better than having a large traditional white wedding?!

Here is our take on this matter.

None is better than the other, it is all a matter of choice, preference and also availability of funds.

Some couples have the money but decide on a small and intimate wedding, while others want to have a huge celebration.

The problem lies where couples who obviously cannot fund a large white wedding want to do so by all means and either go borrowing OR form WhatsApp groups, committee of friends group with the sole aim of raising funds to bankroll their large wedding party.

Contributions from these groups are not bad in itself but where the funding of a wedding is solely dependent on such contributions, then it is TOTALLY WRONG!!

Couples ought to take ownership of their BIG DAY and decide what they want for themselves taking into cognizance their current financial standing and their life after the wedding.

It was a yoruba traditional wedding with a touch of the quaanpan culture as the traditional dancers from a clan in quaanpan welcomed their newest son-in-law with a dance.

Picnics usually have not more than 20 persons, while hangouts have 50 persons or more.

Note also that we charge based on the nos of persons involved.
