A certain guy walked into a hotel and after perusing through the menu, ordered for some food. After about 20 mins a group of guys walked in and ordered for their food too.
To the dismay of the guy, these guys got served first. He watched as they began to eat and laugh heartily. He even overheard one of them brag about how he knew everyone at that hotel and how things moved fast for him there. He felt he was being mocked. He contemplated leaving. But he had waited so long. Unable to take it anymore, he called a waiter.
The waiter calmly told him: "yours sir is a special order, being prepared by the chief chef himself. Their orders were prepared hurriedly by students on attachment because the top chefs are busy with yours. That's why they came first. Please have some juice as you wait".
He calmed down and waited. Shortly after, his meal was served by 6 waiters.
Unknown to him, the owner of the hotel (who happened to be an old long lost friend of his) had seen him coming and wanted to surprise him and had made changes to his simple meal to make it a five star meal.
The party at the other table were shocked. They couldn't stop staring. Suddenly they were the ones murmuring, asking why they didn't get that kind of service and meal.
So it is with this life!! Some people are ahead of you and eating now, laughing at you about how they know people, how they are well connected and how they're blessed, have money and how they're enjoying life because of it.
You have been waiting long wondering why its taking so long to get your breakthrough, enduring mockery and humiliation. Maybe you have contemplated su***de, gone through depression or suffered severe mental anxiety.
Do not worry!! Your Creator God Almighty has seen you and doesn't want to give you a simple meal like those laughing at you. You're waiting long because yours is a special meal. It takes time to prepare. And only chief chefs prepare them.
Take heart today!! Wait for your meal and relax. When it comes that laughing party will be silenced for good.
Then you shall laugh last in Jesus name. Amen. To God be the Glory endless possibilities

Amuwo Odofin Local Government Plans “Face of Amuwo” Beauty Pageant
The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Engineer Comrade Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh, has taken another giant step by discovering and promoting talents among the youths in the local government.
The Buraimoh-led administration has partnered a youth body within the local government named, “Concerned Youth Forum of Amuwo Odofin Local Government” to organise and promote “Face of Amuwo Odofin” Beauty Pageant and Entertainment Talent Hunt Event, which is scheduled to hold in the local government area on December 15, 2017.
In a statement signed by Comrade Kola Folorunso, the Secretary of the Concerned Youth Forum of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, the Talent Hunt and Beauty Pageant is aimed at discovering talents, pageant and models who will be absorbed directly or indirectly into the entertainment industry, who overtime will be brought into lime-light and in so doing, setting them up for life.
Also, the Talent Hunt and Beauty Pageant tagged:”Face of Amuwo Odofin 2017”, will discover talents, pageants and models that will showcase ladies between the ages of 17 and 26 from within and around Amuwo Odofin Local Government to compete for the title of “Face of Amuwo Odofin” at various audition centers and new entertainers under the Talent Hunt, which will precede the final event.
The Beauty Pageant, which is the 2nd edition in the local government will showcase 15 contestants who are chosen from the various auditions to compete for the crown and consolation prizes to be given to all the contestants, while the Talent Hunt Entertainment event stands as a side attraction to enable young contestants add value to the society with their talents.
