BAKERS GATHER HERE! (Please read to the end you may learn something.) . It's another story of what I ordered vs what I got. . I don't really like repeating cake designs, so if a client tells me he/she wants a particular design I always try not to make them exactly the same, I try adding or removing a particular detail but I will make sure that I make something that when you see it you won't even remember the one you ordered. Moreover, the cake picked was a wedding cake so some things had to change. The reason is because I don't want to keep having the same designs in my gallery🤪 . So what do I do? I'll look at the picture very well, then I begin to pick the likely features that made the client choose the cake. . So for this one I picked - 1.) The concept( 4 tier cake) 2.)The colors( Gold and white) remember gold colour for 50th birthday . 3.)The lighting 4.)The soft colour of the flowers . The next question is what should be removed/ added/changed? Okay I got the answer in my head😀 . Then we got to work. 1.) We made 4 cakes, 2 square cakes (no to hexagon cake looks feminine to me), made 2 round cakes and refused to carve any to dome like shape( looks like a bowl or pot - women property😂) 2.) Decided to go with gold and white . 3.)Made soft colored flowers. 4.)And of course light effect. . I told my client to send her hubby's picture, while I was still thinking of where to place the picture, up as a Topper or on the base? Fiam, madam sent 6 pictures😱 Ha! If I use only one out of 6 that is below average😂. . Boom💥an idea came, why not use 4 of the pictures, one on each side of the tall square cake? Oh yes!!! Good idea. . Suddenly my Divine teacher from day one, the Holy Spirit (yes the HS, He has being the head of service at El Royalithos) quietly whispered to me and it will be nice if the cake is turning so that all the 4 pictures will be seen. Oh my God thank you sir, but how? Then I began to receive inspirations, boom💥 the answer came. .
