During lockdowm in 2020,I learnt how to make different types of yoghurt online.
I paid about big money ooo
But I have never practised it,so on Friday last week I decided to do my first practical.

I just informed some people in my street
Omo it came out very creamy and yummy.

I didn't make much.I made about 15 cans
Come and see rushing.
The way they rush it eeh,I managed to bring out for my kids.

They said this one na home made yoghurt

Puff puff.

Ingredients.
For about 25 balls of Puff Puff, the size in the photo above, you will need:

2 cups (250g) of Plain Flour
2 teaspoons of yeast (the one used in baking bread)
Β½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Β½ cup granulated sugar (or to your taste)
3 pinches of salt
Lukewarm water (for mixing)
Vegetable Oil (for frying)

Directions:
-Mix salt, sugar, water, nutmeg and yeast. Set aside for 5 minutes.
-Add flour and mix.
-Let the mixture rise for approximately 1- 2 hours
-In a large, sauce pan, pour vegetable oil into a pot, until it is at least 3 inches (or about 5 centimeters) high (too little will result in flatter balls) and place on low heat.
-Test to make sure the oil is hot enough by putting a β€˜drop’ of batter into the oil. If it is not hot enough, the batter will stay at the bottom of the pot rather than rising to the top.
-Using your hands grab a little bit of mixture at time and drop in the oil.
-When the oil is hot enough, use a spoon to dish up the batter and another spoon or spatula to drop it in the oil, sort of in the shape of a ball.
-Fry for a few minutes until the bottom side is golden brown.
-Turn the ball over and fry for a few more minutes until the other side is golden brown.
-Use a large spoon or something like that to take it out of the oil. I usually place them on napkins right away to soak up some of the excess oil.
-If desired, you can roll the finished product in table sugar or powdered sugar to make it sweeter.

HOW TO MAKE DOUGHNUTS
RECIPES
* 3 cups of all purpose flour
* 4 tablespoon of sugar
* 1 tablespoon of salt
* 1 tablespoon of instant yeast
* 1 egg
* 2 tablespoon of butter
* 1 cup of warm liquid milk
* Vegetable oil
PROCEDURES
* In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, yeast and whisk. Beat the egg into the bowl and mix using a wooden spoon. Add the milk the milk, mix together to form a dough. If the dough is too soft, add some flour and mix thoroughly. Add the butter and mix properly.
* Transfer to a floured surface and knead dough until it's stretchy. Transfer the kneaded dough to a greased bowl, cover and allow it rise until it doubles in size.
* Once the dough is risen, knock the dough to remove some air bubbles. Place it on a floured surface and roll to a flat dough using a rolling spin.
* Using a doughnut cutter, place it on the flat dough. Repeat the process until you're done. (You can substitute a doughnut cutter for any clean object with a round surface/shape.) Cover the dough and let it rise for another 30mins.
* Heat the oil and deep fry until it's golden brown.

Chin-chin Recipe

Ingredients πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
1. Flour 6 cups
2. Margarine 100g
3. Eggs 2
4. Baking powder 1 and 1/2 teaspoon
5. Water 1 cup
6. Milk -1/2 cup (powdered).
7. Sugar 10 tablespoon
8. Spices:- Nutmeg, cinnamon, flavour and a pinch of salt.

Procedure πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
1. Sift flour into a bowl and rub in margarine.

2. Add sugar, milk, baking powder and spices.
3. Beat the eggs and add flavour.
4. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and pour in water and egg mixture.
5. Knead dough until ingredients are combined
6. Place some flour on a work table, place some dough on the cutting board and roll flat till 1/2 inch thick, cut the dough into square.
7. Fry with deep frying till light brown. Then remove from oil.
