My Idanre Hills Experience (Second Visit)

Great things only happen when men and mountains meet. You realise what seems daunting at the bottom of the climb is no longer a mystery when you get to the top.

Five things happen when you climb mountains:
1. Your muscles will stretch relieving you of pains,aches and improve bone fluidity.
2. You are better informed and exposed as you learn more about history, culture,people and background of those who lived there in ages past, you get to experience what life is like living on the mountains.
3. It puts you in good physical shape,if you can climb to the top, it means you don't really have any underlying sickness or disease you should be worried about. You might experience some shortness of breath,but your lungs become clearer and more powerful.
4. It teaches you life lessons; Perseverance,patience,endurance,overcoming challenges. Having a better perspective on situations surrounding you. You realise that at the top of every mountain,there are other mountains, some bigger or lower ,but they are part of the scenery and you just have to accept them.
5. Finally, you get the best view and better perspective . It's better to be experienced than to be told to understand the feeling of looking down at everything around you.

P:s There are 682 steps ,five resting points before getting to the top. There,you can see the five huts in the old village, king's palace, foreigner's (whiteman) quarters , old school and lots of other tourist attractions.

Surah 21 Al-Anbya, Ayat 83-84

وَاَيُّوۡبَ اِذۡ نَادٰى رَبَّهٗۤ اَنِّىۡ مَسَّنِىَ الضُّرُّ وَاَنۡتَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ​ ۖ​ۚ‏ ﴿21:83﴾ فَاسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَهٗ فَكَشَفۡنَا مَا بِهٖ مِنۡ ضُرٍّ​ وَّاٰتَيۡنٰهُ اَهۡلَهٗ و مِثۡلَهُمۡ مَّعَهُمۡ رَحۡمَةً مِّنۡ عِنۡدِنَا وَذِكۡرٰى لِلۡعٰبِدِيۡنَ‏ ﴿21:84

The other day I was in the biggest mosque in praying for hood health and prosperity. Now, Let us pray for Coronavirus to be kicked out of our country.

Awesome memories from Kenyan Safari

From a welcoming reception at the airport to our local host's hospitality and our excellent driver navigating the rush hour traffic. It was a huge dream come true.
I saw the all kind of animals including the big five from the safety of our safari truck (Lion, giraffes, buffaloes, hippopotamus, ostriches,impalas,antelopes,bush fowls)
It was awesome traveling with
Had a great time shopping for lovely souvenirs, food and just window browsing.
Danced with the local masai
Enjoyed the local meal, Ugali, potatoes,local vegetables with lots of chicken.
Only Wished I had taken my binoculars with me to capture the fiery stares of the lions.
Had the best Co traveller, Princess to keep everyone and I entertained with her smiles, laughs and theatrics. She was a big hit with the passengers on the plane.

On this trip, I learnt dollars is the universal and most respected currency. Naira is the least.
