I SAW THIS AND DECIDED TO SHARE

RED VELVET CAKE RECIPE
Ingredients
2 ¼ cups cake flour (280 grams)
1 1/2cup sugar (300 grams)
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
260g butter,

2 eggs (100 grams)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder
2 tablespoons red food coloring
1 tablespoon vinegar,
1 cup buttermilk

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans. For a taller cake you may use 8 inch round pans, but the bake time will need to be increased slightly because the cake will be deeper.
Thoroughly mix the flours, baking soda and salt together and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, using a hand held electric mixer, beat the butter until creamy; and add sugar and beat for another minute, scraping sides of the bowl.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating on low speed for 30 seconds after each egg is added, then increase speed and beat on high for another minute. Beat in the vanilla.
Stir in the cocoa powder and red food coloring, then beat with the mixer until blended and smooth. Beat in the vinegar.
Using a heavy duty scraper, stir the flour and the buttermilk into the red mixture, alternating between the two (flour, milk, flour, milk, flour). Beat about 30 strokes with the scraper or until there are no lumps of flour and mixture is smooth and red. If batter is lumpy, beat with the electric mixer for no longer than 30 seconds -- don't overdo it or you'll build up the gluten too much.
Spread evenly in pans and bake for 25 minutes (30 minutes for the 8 inch pans) or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 10 minutes. Invert onto a cooling rack and let cool completely.

My standard go to chocolate cake recipe - a winner

2 cups of flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup Cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup buttermilk
Vanilla extract (2 tsp)
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
(Mix all these ingredients well) then add
3/4 cup hot coffee or hot water
Mix well

Quite a runny mix
Bake at 175 C (375 F) for approximately 30 mins - you will see and smell when it’s all ready

BUTTER COOKIES

Ingredients:

200 grams pomade butter (blend at room temperature)
120 grams of sugar
280 grams of wheat flour
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Preparation:

1. In a bowl start by mixing the butter with the sugar. Remember that butter must be at room temperature in order to work well with it. We blend in pretty well.

2. Once mixed, add in the teaspoon of vanilla essence.

3. We continue with the sifted flour. We run the flour through a sinker before putting it into the bowl. We blend in pretty well.

4. Now it's time to shape them up. The easiest thing is to make a roll as you see below with the help of paper film and put it in the fridge for 1 hour or so. From there on, we'll be "cutting slices" of more or less 1 cm and baking them.

5. Put them in a cut oven tray and bake them at 180° for about 11-12 minutes. The moment we see the edges starting to gold we take them out. If you see that they are soft don't leave them anymore because I once made that mistake, when they cool they harden. So don't worry if you touch one and see it soft

Corn 🌽 Flakes Recipe
INGREDIENTS
2cups of yellow cornflour
1tbsp sugar
1tsp salt
1 tbsp Vanilla flavors
250ml of water

Instructions
Firstly , grind your dried corn into flour, or get already made cornflour from a store.
Sieve the cornflour gently.
Turn 2cups sieved cornflour inside a bowl and one tea spoon of salt, one table spoon of sugar.
Mix everything very well before adding the water

( When adding the water , go gently by adding it bit by bit. It should be a bit thick and slimy .

Turn the mixture into a baking tray and use your spatula to spread the corn mixture wide on every sides of baking tray.

Then put the tray in the middle of the oven and and allow it to evenly bake the corn flour dough into crunchy corn flakes .
( Bake it on a low heat)

If you don't have oven, pour your corn flour dough in a stainless plate and place on top of your stove or Gas .

Note : check it frequently to ensure that it doesn't get burnt when it's finally dry , you will see cracks , you can also touch it to see if it has dried well.

When is dried your cornflakes is ready .
Let it cool and enjoy with any milk of your choice 😋

HOW TO MAKE BUTTER AT HOME

Stop Wasting Money On Buying Butter, Make It Yourself With These Simple Steps

The most important ingredients needed in making butter is milk. When butter is made, it can be used on bread, cookies, biscuits and so on.
Today, we are going to be learning how to make our own butter by ourselves instead of going out to buy it all the time.

So, What Are The Equipment And Ingredients We Need?
Jar or Plastic (with a lid).

✓ Pot.

✓ Bowl.
✓ Spoon (preferably wooden).
✓ Containers.
✓ Gas cylinder or stove.
✓ Goat/Cow milk (or Heavy cream).
✓ Salt (optional).
How Do We Prepare It?

So, we are going to first extract the cream from the milk. This can be done in two forms.
Light up your gas or stove, then place your pot on top of it.

2. Get the milk and pour it into the pot.

3. Heat the milk until it becomes creamy until you observe a think duskbor flat layer on top of it.

4. Use a spoon to scoop out the flat layer, and that is the heavy cream we need.

NB: You may decide to keep the leftover milk for other purposes. Also note that you don't need to go through these processes if you have a ready made heavy cream
5. Pour this cream into a bowl (you may add salt if you like).

6. Keep stirring with your spoon until you observe that it starts to solidify and some lumps are formed.
7. Continue stirring until you can see that the milk have separated from the solidifying lumps.

8. Drain the milk from the solidifying lump.

9. Continue draining until the lump is completely separated from the buttermilk.
NB: if milk remains in the lumps, it will make it spoil quickly.

10. Now get your solid lump and start pressing and breaking it. Do this continuously for about 5-10 minutes.

Guess what?

Your butter is ready.

Now you can package in airtight plastics and store in your refrigerator.

NEAPOLITAN CAKE 😋
Ingredients:
1 cup of butter
2 cups of sugar
3 eggs
3 cups of flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ tablespoon vanilla essence
1 cup of liquid milk
½ cup strawberry puree
¼ cup cocoa powder
¼ cup boiling water
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Cream:
2 cups of butter
4 cups of icing sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
½ cup liquid milk
3 drops of pink food coloring
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C or 350°F; Butter and flour three molds of the same size.
2. Beat the butter together with the sugar and add the eggs one by one; continue beating so that everything is integrated.
3. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl; reserve.
4. Add the vanilla essence to the milk.
5. Integrate 1/3 of the flour into the egg mixture and add half of the milk with vanilla. Beat to integrate the ingredients.
6. Repeat the process until all the flour and milk are added.
7. Divide the mixture into three equal parts; to 1/3 add the strawberry puree and to another third add the cocoa, boiling water and baking soda; the last third stays the same.
8. Pour each mixture into the already prepared molds.
9. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
10. Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before unmolding and cooling completely to room temperature on a wire rack.
11. Mix all the ingredients for the cream, except the coloring and cocoa.
12. Beat until a smooth and homogeneous mixture is achieved.
13. Divide the cream into three equal parts, in separate containers.
14. Add 1/3 the pink coloring and the other third the cocoa. The last third is left the same.
15. Place the cocoa cake as a base and place the cream with cocoa on top; put the strawberry cake on top and cover with the strawberry cream; crown with the white cake and put the white cream on top.
16. Take to the fridge for 1 hour
17. Serve and enjoy.

Method:
1. Separate egg white carefully from the yolk .
2. Beat the egg white from foamy to stiff peaks.
3. Empty the milk in another bowl and and whisk.
4. Add sugar to milk and stir. Whisk till the sugar dissolves and it gets thick.
5. Dissolve your gelatin in hot water and add.
6. Add vanilla flavour or any of ur choice.
7. Whisk all till well blended, plate it and freeze. Enjoy

SwissHomemade Swiss Roll😍
Ingredients:
For the cake:
4 large eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
For the filling:
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fruit jam or spread of your choice
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan and line it with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar together using an electric mixer until thick and pale yellow in color.
Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, folding gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared jelly roll pan, spreading it evenly to the edges.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cake is lightly golden and springs back when lightly touched.
While the cake is baking, prepare a clean kitchen towel by sprinkling it with powdered sugar.
Remove the cake from the oven and immediately invert it onto the prepared kitchen towel.
Carefully peel off the parchment paper from the cake.
Starting from one short end, gently roll the cake together with the towel into a tight spiral. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
In the meantime, prepare the filling by whipping the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
Once the cake has cooled, carefully unroll it from the towel.
Spread a layer of fruit jam or spread evenly over the cake, leaving a small border around the edges.
Spread the whipped cream filling over the jam layer.
Starting from the same end as before, carefully roll the cake back up into a tight spiral, removing the towel as you go.
Place the Swiss roll on a serving platter, seam side down.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the filling to set.
Slice and serve chill

Ingredients
Margarine 150g
Oil 150g
Flour 280g
Sugar 200g
Corn flour 20g
Eggs 6 (300g)
Vanilla flavour 1Tsp
Baking powder 1Tsp (5g)

Procedure:
Cream margarine and sugar till fluffy, add oil.

Sieve the dry ingredients 3 times

Add eggs to the wet ingredients and incorporate the dry ingredients bit by bit, then add flavour.

Bake on low heat till an inserted toothpick/skewer comes out clean

Red velvet cake Recipe.
Flour 2 1/2 cups.
Sugar 1 1/2 cups
Baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
Baking soda 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon Cocoa powder
2 large eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup hot water
1 1/2 teaspoon redvelvet powder or liquid.
2 tablespoon butterscotch flavor or any flavor of your choice.

Procedure:
To make buttermilk add I tablespoon of vinegar to 1 cup of flour, stirr and keep aside for at least 5 minutes.

In a bowl mix together your Flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda till well combined.

In another bowl mix your buttermilk egg and vegetable oil and red velvet powder/liquid whisk till fully combined. Add both dry and wet ingredients together and mix till well combined, then add hot water.

Grease your pan with veg oil and line with baking paper,bake at 120 degree Celsius.

DOUGHNUT RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
Flour – 500g
Yeast –4tsp
Milk (powdered)—1 cup
Butter-- 250g
Sugar—100g
Egg – 1 large
Salt – a pinch
Milk flavour/ vanilla—2tbsp
Oil—for frying
Hot water—1/2 cup mixed with milk makes it rise (NOTE)

PROCEDURE
*In a small bowl, mix the milk and sugar and dissolve with a spoon

In another bowl, pour in part of the flour, very small quantity, mix yeast, salt properly

Make a well in the centre and gently pour in the milk and sugar mixture, rinse the bowl with about half cup of water and add to the batter then mix gently to make a semi thick paste

Add the melted butter and whisked egg into the batter and mix then gently fold in the rest of the flour till you get a stretchy dough

*Bring out dough on work surface sprinkle little and mix until feels non sticky, roll the dough into a ball and place into a bowl, cover and leave in an airtight container for 30 minutes

*It should have doubled in size when opened, flour the work surface and rolling pin and take the dough out and knead, then roll out and cut about 1 or 2 inches high using a cutter and allow to rise again and fry..

RED VELVET CAKE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
• 1½ cup Vegetable oil
• 2½ cup Flour - Sifted
• 1 cup Buttermilk
• ½ teaspoon Salt
• 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder

• 1½ Cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla flavor
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
• 1 teaspoon Vinegar

Preparations Of Red Velvet Cake Recipe

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Grease pans with butter, margarine or vegetable oil. After that, coat the pan with flour by sprinkling flour on the grease and shaking it to evenly distribute.
This will help the cake not to burn and also come out easily from the pan after baking. You can also use 2 or 3 cupcake papers at a time so that the design on the cup cake will not be covered by oil

Traditionally red velvet cake is made with vegetable oil but you can use butter as substitute. Cream the oil and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add one of the eggs and beat until well mixed then add the other and mix very well.

Make a paste of cocoa and red food colouring and add to the creamed mixture. Mix salt, vanilla and buttermilk together (to make buttermilk, put one tablespoon of vinegar in a 1 measuring cup, and then add enough milk to fill the cup and allow to sit for 5-10 minutes).

Now add the milk mixture and the flour to the creamed mixture bit by bit. Divide the flour into three parts and the milk into two.

First add the flour to the creamed mixture, add milk, add flour, then add the remaining milk and lastly add flour. Always end with flour.

Mix the baking soda and vinegar in a cup. It will start foaming immediately. Gently fold it into the cake. Folding means adding ingredients without beating or mixing vigorously.

Just run the spatula around the sides of the bowl and gently raise the spatula so it’s like trying to scoop the batter or turn it over.

Put the batter into the pan and bake until a knife or toothpick inserted into it comes out clean. Like I said earlier, the cake is very moist and yummy.

You might mistake the moistness for it being undone. However, when it is cool, it’s perfect. Frost and decorate to your taste. Enjoy!

COCONUT CAKE RECIPE

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut see directions
1/4 cup sugar see directions
3/4 cup sugar see directions
1/2 cup melted margarine
3 eggs
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk

Glaze
2 tablespoons melted margarine
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon milk or cream
Topping
1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut toasted

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9"x 5" loaf pan with parchment paper (or lightly grease with margarine).
In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt, and set aside.
Blend 1/2 cup coconut in a food processor along with 1/4 cup of sugar, and set aside. (See notes below)
In the bowl of an electric mixer, blend together the melted margarine and 3/4 cup sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, blending for 10-15 seconds between each egg.
Add the bowl of coconut and sugar that was processed together, and stir until well combined.
Add coconut extract and vanilla extract.
While slowly mixing, add flour mixture and milk in two batches(some flour, then some milk, then the rest of the flour and the rest of the milk). Stop mixing as soon as it's just combined.
Immediately pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool the loaf cake in the pan for about 30 minutes, then move to a wire cooling rack with a baking sheet below (to catch the glaze you're about to add).
After the cake has baked, leave the oven on, but reduce the temperature to 300°F. Spread 1/2 cup of coconut onto a baking sheet, and bake for 3-4 minutes (watch it closely). Remove from oven to cool.
Prepare the glaze by simply whisking together the glaze ingredients. Depending on how hot the butter was, the glaze may be thin. Allow to cool a few minutes until the desired consistency is reached, then pour glaze over the loaf cake.
Sprinkle toasted coconut over the top of the cake, allow the glaze to set up a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!

Turkish Bread

INGREDIENTS
8 ½ cup flour(1,1kg)
1.7 cup of warm water 400 ml
1.7 cup of yogurt 400ml
1 tsp salt
dry instant yeast 10 g
3 tbsp vegetable oil
½ cups butter 60 g

METHOD
Stir in flour, yeast, yogurt, salt and water. When you have obtained a fine dough, coat it with oil, covered with transparency and leave the amount of dough in a dry and warm place.
After the dough comes in, oil your hands, separate the dough from the pan and divide it into eight balls, which are also kneaded and left to stand for 15 minutes.
Roll each dough ball into a circle and bake on a heated pan.
While the bread is warm, coat it with butter

To get a perfect on your cake, this process should be helpful:

TOOLS:

(1) Plastic Stencils

(2) Icing Spatula

(3) Cake Smoother (Optional)

(4) New Pins or Needles

(5) A Turn Table

PROCEDURE:

(1) Bake, frost and cover your cake with fondant.

(2) Make your royal icing.

(3) Place your stencil around the sides of the cake. Make sure the stencil is resting on the cake and is leveled with the cake board. If there are gaps between the stencil and the cake, the royal icing would bleed into other parts of the cake and mess up with the pattern you are trying to create.

(4) Hold the stencil to the cake with a few pins or needles at the edges. Be careful not to press too hard on the cake while placing the pins. It might be useful to make holes on the stencil with the pins before placing it on the cake so as not to dent the cake when pricking with the pins.

(5) Using your icing spatula, apply a generous portion of royal icing over stencil, being sure to cover all the holes on the stencil.

(6) After covering the stencil with royal icing, use a cake smoother or the back of the icing spatula to remove excess royal icing from the stencil. Be careful not to remove too much of the icing from the portions touching the cake itself. You want about 2 mm of royal icing to remain on the cake so as to ensure that the pattern comes out well.

(7) Remove the pins from the stencil and peel it off the cake from one end to the other, carefully. Do not just lift the stencil off the cake, peel it off.

(8) Allow the royal icing to dry for about 5 minutes before using the stencil on the uncovered portion of the cake. You can place the cake in the fridge for a couple of minutes to speed up this process. Buttercream frosting would need more time to harden. Be sure to start from the point where the previous stencil pattern ended. Continue this process until all the cake sides have been covered.
