>Caterers are characterized with planning of food and drinks at events as an important process;hence,the event success can rise or fall on the catering. This is due to the fact that;caterers believe they have a portion of food allocated to them after cooking,so they would have dish out their portion before bringing the rest to the occasion; shortening the ration of the participants. The question is :were you not paid for the services? Were you not financed buoyantly to purchase all you needed?
Caterers should be aware of the fact that, you are serving 3-categories of people: the real participants, gate crashers and ghost participants (those that do not exist and participants will like "it remain one man,that woman...where are they?)
Either we hire caterers or have family members(obinrin ile) who can cook, the fact is we remain cultured to INTEGRITY,DISCIPLINE and MATURITY. Being a caterer;doesn't give you the opportunity to feast in all foods to stupor in the disguise of tasting and event bags packaging them for relatives (you aren't employed for that),its not a privilege to his meats meant for the occasion, it's meant to loose consideration factor (some caterers are inhumane). POOR CATERING PERFORMANCE IS THE BIGGEST REASON FPR DISSATISFACTION OR DISAPPOINTMENT WITH AN EVENT.
Nevertheless, we agreed to this point; in your agreement with the client,state the portion of food accrued to you(personnel) after cooking and your fees. Hence, some see you as a glutton and thief of the event trying to siphon the majority's meal to the minority's pots.

Back with a bang! and to close for it this year with the last course of our discussion on EVENT MANAGEMENT. WHAT ARE THE ROLES OF EVENT PLANNERS IN THE SOCIETY.
Dating back from where we started these course from ,we were able to establish the meaning and the very need for events to be well manage on God's platform.
Event planners are generally saddled with the responsibility of bringing the best out of every event that look skeletal from the on set. Event planners;
1-address the challenges facing the client and the families as the case may be.
2-portray a good steward of organisation, orderliness and control.
3-and produce a long lasting memory on the event.
Event planning is a whole system accommodating the followings;
1-master of ceremonies(M.C)
2-out-event and in-event decorator
3-caterers
4-ushers/protocols
5-bouncers (optional and not compulsory)
6-servers
7-and others base on the peculiarity of the event. Event could be conference, wedding, naming, convocation etc. God helping us we'll do Justice to each subsystem in order to understand what is to be and ought not to be.
The above are the subsystems summing up the system of event planning. Event planners are responsible for looking into these subsystems to avoid goal incongruence. I see a generation and situation where serenity and optimal organisation will take precedence In all events not minding pressures from different quarters(bride or groom's family).
Finally, if u are an event planner rushing in to organising and planning events for client with the sole aim of making money, you are missing it. Several things are missing in events in this generation and that Christ needed us to put straight.
