Diwali brings the excitement of all things decadent, rich, colorful and bursting with the most amazing flavors in indian treats. It's also a time when celebration calories don't count.

So, go ahead and place your orders for some authentic South African Mithai (Indian sweets).

My London Nandos experience. Firstly, nothing compares to South African Nandos. But in saying that, I was pleasantly surprised, this comes a close second in taste. Chicken size 5/10, a full chicken platter serves 2. Portuguese rolls 4/10, chicken livers 8/10, lack of proper sauce.

Overall, worth the wait and we walked out with happy tummies 😍

Yesterday, temps reached 31 deg...... summer loving BBQ weather 🌞 I don't usually cook at home on a Friday, so my boys prepared this amazing dinner, and boy, was it good.

Pan fried baby squid, bbq'd whole stuffed Dorado, spicy prawn skewers & a fresh pearl couscous salad. My taste buds were definitely doing a happy dance

Four years ago, we had an idea. Four years later, that idea has grown to become so much more than we ever expected. As we celebrate our 4th anniversary this year, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support.

We've had the opportunity to be a part of some pretty amazing food programs and initiatives. We've collaborated with some amazing players in the food business and formed amazing future work relationships. And for that, I am grateful.

Cheers to many more years of mutual customer satisfaction, collaborations, and friendships. We appreciate every single one of you for following along on our journey. Let’s keep growing together.

Sharing some photos of my food journey from my great Outback vacation in Australia. Holiday calories don't count, right? 😜

When I got on the plane I said to my husband, I intend on staying out of the kitchen whilst on holiday, but that thought was very short lived. Second day into my holiday I cooked a barramundi curry, and then one dish led to another and another and you see how that went down. In saying that, I enjoyed cooking some of our family favorites, an authentic Durban style crab curry, bunny chows, gourmet steak and chicken ciabata sandwiches, mixed veg curry with dried fish and porridge, and too many to bore you with, but these stand out for me.

We traveled a fair bit inbetween and I had the worst poffertjes ever at a local market, I ate the best pancakes in Port Macquarie, the most delicious prawn laksa in Nelson Bay and learned how to make Japanese pancakes at a food market in Kiama.

So, do you live to eat or eat to live??????
