This Sunday (8.12.), .van.der.wal will be hosting a chemigram workshop here at !
Chemigram is an experimental form of art where an image is made by painting with chemicals on light-sensitive paper. The chemigram is made without a camera, yet is created in full light instead of in the darkness of the darkroom.
The workshop is from 16:00 until 18:00 and is donation based, between €20 - €30.

This Monday, join us for 🪄Conversations with Strangers, Takeover Edition🪄 featuring delicious vegan cakes from ! ‚Singles in Amsterdam are done with swiping‘ says a recent headline in het Parool. Sick of the apps, want to escape the cold and meet new people? We’re taking over the whole Sering to do just that!

€2 entrance, starting at 19:00. Come early to enjoy a two-course De Sering meal, €2.50-€14 sliding scale 🍛 No sign-up needed, first come first served!

Do you want to know more about the origins, the goals, and the near future of De Sering? Do you have burning questions about what we are even doing that you can’t find answers to?
On the first of December, from 17:30 to 18:15, Daan, one of our founders, will give a talk and hopefully answer all of your curiosities!

Afterwards, you are very welcome to stay for our scarpetta dinner around 18:30-19:30, where we sit down together to eat a delicious meal😋

The debut of Movements by !

Instead of a lineup, here is our intention:
this night is to collectively create a party that’s fun for everyone, regardless of your knowledge of dance music. Non-commercial, community-centred, inclusive, silly, and designed to get you moving in whatever form suits you.

Some of the De Sering crew will help out, sprinkling the event with a good pinch of cosy vibes, party snacks, as well as some playfulness to top it all off. Keep an eye on our socials for updates on the fun to come and see you soon ###

🌱 Farm to Fork Workshop - 6th October - Pluk! Fruittuin van West x De Sering 🌿

On Sunday, October 6, we are organizing a harvest and cooking workshop starting at Pluk and ending it at De Sering (be sure to arrive to Pluk in the morning)!

The workshop lasts from 11:00 till 17:30, and consists of a guided harvest tour, cooking session and a collective meal, all accompanied by plant-human stories about the foods we will be working with.

The workshop has limited participation (so don’t miss out!) and is donation-based, with a suggested range from €15 to €65 🍽️🌽🧄

Celebrating 2 years of De Sering and De Sloot was such a blast! These two years have been a whirlwind—hectic, wholesome, and filled with so much growth. A huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers, staff, and performers who made this day possible. Your dedication and passion are what keep this community thriving. 💛 And to everyone who joined us, whether for lunch, dinner, or one of the many amazing performances and pop-ups- here’s to many more shared moments, meals, and memories. We couldn’t have done it without you all! 💫
