During the process of creating my One Mix in Spatial Audio I felt that I needed some more fresh, different and creative sounds. Something other than 4/4 bangers and linear tracks.

So I challenged myself to create exactly what I felt the mix needed, to give it the immersive quality I wanted. When the dust settled I had come out with about 14 tracks…but only 9 made the cut and felt right for the One Mix.

Instead of the usual months ahead pre-promotion and solicitation of “feedback” I decided to just drop the 9 as a surprise unannounced album on Apple Music.

Today is a special day.

I am very proud to announce the launch of my own channel/station/curator page: 𝐃𝐉 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 on !

I knew we needed a place, a channel for the underground to represent…for Detroit techno, real house music, electro and other original and experimental genres to be heard, discovered (if you’re new), appreciated and felt. Apple Music heard the call and came through.

On DJ Bone Goes FURTHER you will hear the best in past, present and futuristic electronic music. I intend to take things further with exclusive mixes, projects and recorded live sets from the most talented artists in the scene. Established to unknown artists, legends to newbies, skills is skills and a vibe is vibe.

FURTHER’s first official release is both a signature EP from a rising star and a declaration of intent from the label itself: ‘We Ain’t Like Them’ sees Yeti Mind Tricks kickstart the label with three thrilling original cuts which perfectly showcase the producer’s UK-meets-Detroit style, complimented by a relentless remix from Bone himself. The Glasgow-based producer & curator/resident of the city’s long-running BASSment club night came to Bone’s attention in 2022 following a pair of EPs for DJ 3000’s Motech label. Having connected via Instagram, Yeti sent the demos which became FURTHER’s inaugural release.

DJ Bone says:
I decided to kick off my new label FURTHER with a release from Yeti Mind Tricks titled ‘We Ain’t Like Them’, due to those words uttered throughout the track. Yeti sent it to me as a demo and after playing it out a few times I knew that this was more than a track: it was a raw and to-the-point description of myself and the entire FURTHER crew.

The second release will be from yours truly. The Portal EP steps into new territory for me, and marks the exciting launch of this endeavor of pushing things further than I ever have before.

Every penny of your ticket goes to homeless shelters in Amsterdam, via De Regenboog Groep and Homeless Homies.

Since 2002, all DJ Bone label, merch, music licensing revenues funded Homeless Homies. In 2017, we invited fellow artists to participate and started hosing Homeless Homies events.

For the last 21 years, we purchased tiny houses, have provided supplies to food banks, donated winter coats, blankets, shoes, hygiene kits, purchased new mattresses, tents, funded the homeless art programs, helped with the functioning of shelters and organised dinners for people who are supported by shelters in Detroit, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and wherever needed.

This is the one feel-good ticket of ADE.Come and dance for a cause
