🇮🇹 🇪🇸Giancarlo Scalia is an Italian magician and actor based in Madrid. Since starting his magic journey as a child, he has developed his interest in the performing arts by learning various circus disciplines and continues his artistic training by studying physical theatre and mime in Italy and Spain.

✨Thanks to his constant study of movement, his clean handling, sensitivity and gestural expression truly stand out from the crowd. His magic is characterized by it's simplicity and ability to transmit the maximum through the minimal, expressing ease and flow through refined technique. His performances are full of humour, mystery, and the beauty of the impossible.

🎩 If you have seen Giancarlo's magic, you know that his gestural ability is extraordinary. In this lecture Giancarlo will show you his conception of magic and his way of interacting with the elements, which is based mainly on natural, economical movement. He will teach you how to redesign your tricks and techniques obtaining maximum results with minimum effort. An encounter not to be missed!

😱 Our Honorary member gets his certificate and pin from the President.

🇸🇪 Fritz was attending the Conjuring Course in Sweden. Another member, Willem, was also there.

🙏 At the open mic of this course, Fritz presented Tom with his pin and certificate. It was given because of his contributions to our magazine, the magic community, and his support for the Dutch magic.

🎉 Congratulations, Tom. We hope to welcome you again in Amsterdam!

✨ Another fun Amsterdam Magic Society night it was on Monday, June 10!!!

🙏 With 17 members, 3 Apprentices, and 2 guests at Mascini, it was truly a magical evening.

🎩 We had talks from Killian about Darwin Ortiz' and from Danny about the creative process. After the break, we had performances from Flip, Rico, Stephane, Marvin, Reynier, and Edgar.

🍻 And as usual, we stayed at Mascini until closing time and amazed the guests there as well.

🎩On Monday, April 8th, Radek Hoffman conducted a lecture us. During this lecture, he shared with us four effects.

✨The first routine had a pivotal moment, according to Radek, that makes the performance memorable and fosters audience discussion. He emphasized the importance of incorporating such moments to enhance the visual appeal of mentalism.

👀 Before the intermission, Mr. Hoffman played a murder mystery where three participants had to play roles of the murder, the witness, and the victim. Radek reveals who is whom. And as a kicker, he was able to predict the murder weapon that the participant was thinking of.

✨ After the intermission, he shared a routine inspired by a Bob Cassidy idea.
Close to the end of the evening, Radek also touched on the art of revealing.

🐝 Overall, the evening proved inspirational, sparking extensive brainstorming
and idea-sharing among attendees after the lecture.

🙏 With our Society Showcase with 17 members, 6 Apprentices, and 6 guests at Mascini, it was truly a magical evening.

🎩 Hosting the show was Fritz with a Z. In the first half were performing Orville, Ron, Freek, Jose, Danny, and Zippo. After the break, we had performances from Flip, Evan, Stephane, Frans, and Peter.

🎉 We welcomed Ron, Jose, Stephane, and Peter as new members!

🍻 And as usual, we stayed at Mascini until closing time and amazed the guests there as well.

🎩 David has been a professional magician, performer, entertainer and keynote speaker since 1990. Ben is known for his sleight-of-hand technique, his knowledge of magic history and his collection of magic.
