Since starting his magic journey as a child, he has developed his interest in the performing arts by learning various circus disciplines and continues his artistic training by studying physical theatre and mime in Italy and Spain.

✨Thanks to his constant study of movement, his clean handling, sensitivity and gestural expression truly stand out from the crowd. His magic is characterized by it's simplicity and ability to transmit the maximum through the minimal, expressing ease and flow through refined technique. His performances are full of humour, mystery, and the beauty of the impossible.

In this lecture Giancarlo will show you his conception of magic and his way of interacting with the elements, which is based mainly on natural, economical movement. 🍖 Where most magic clubs go on summer holidays, we decided to have our annual BBQ instead of having our society meet-up on Monday, August 12th.

🙏 What a great turnout; 16 members and 1 Apprentices, and 5 guests.

🤩 Location was the deck of The Butcher Social Club with lovely weather.

⏭️ Next meeting is on Monday, October 14th.

🌎TONIGHT: INTERNATIONAL CLUB NIGHT!!!

🐝 Starting tonight, September 29th, we'll meet as a Society on Discord the last Sunday of every month. These meetings are in addition to our usual in-person meetings at Mascini.

✨ At these international meetings, you can join via video, voice, or text chat and spend time with each other anywhere in the world. We will offer a program, Q&A, and time to chat freely or show off tricks via your we**am.

🎩 For this first meeting, we're happy to welcome your magician friends even if they have yet to become members of the Society. We’ll start at 20:00 (8:00 pm) Amsterdam time. The Sleight of Mouth program will begin around 20:30 (8:30 pm), and we should wrap up around 22:00 (10:00 pm).

✨ Bring drinks, snacks, and whatever else you may enjoy. Several international members of the Society and guests are already excited to join, so why not join us tonight?

ℹ️ To join the online server, visit discord.amsterdammagicsociety.com, and you will be directed to download the discord app if you do not already have it. When creating a username for our server, please use your performing name so everyone knows who you are. The server is open to everyone, including non-members. Feel free to send Evan Kastor a message once you have joined the server, and he will add you to the member’s areas.

😱 Our Honorary member gets his certificate and pin from the President.

🎩 Michael Vincent was visiting the lecture of David Ben. It was amazing to see the enthusiasm of Mike when David was speaking about Vernon and other legends from the past.

🙏 After the lecture, Fritz presented Michael with his pin and certificate. It was given because of his contributions to our magazine, the worldwide magic community, and his support and love for the Dutch magic and the Amsterdam Magic Show.
