Open Mic Amsterdam Reunion Nights Alas, we don't do the regular Tue Open Mics anymore. Next reunion night will be March 7th 2025. Special ASG 20th Anniversary Edition. This is no regular Open Mic.

Open Mic Amsterdam Reunion Nights
We don't run the Open Mic Amsterdam no more. However we do celebrate the good memories of that period from time to time. On the Grande Soirée Amusante events,
the list will be on the pool table at 7:30PM. Do not mail Max or the Backstage Hotel. Please note that there is limited space on the sign-up list, so we kindly request that you limit your performance to one

or two songs. The spots on the list are only for ASG-ers who performed on our stage during the good old days. It's an ASG reunion. You can't put your friends on the list who are not in the room. Only your own name/act. Plug and play. No arguing with Case, Marcel or Max about anything. Have fun and rock our socks off. Music starts at 8:00PM

Dear all,

As many of you know, the weekly singer-songwriter Open Mic in Amsterdam came to an end in 2022 after a long and successful run. Over the years, we had the pleasure of hosting the event in various venues, creating countless memories and fostering a vibrant community of musicians and music lovers. Café Sappho, Jet Lounge, BackStage Hotel and Café de Koe provided the perfect stage for local, national and international artists.

While the regular Open Mic nights may be over, twice a year we will be hosting reunion evenings, where we can come together to reminisce, catch up, and celebrate our shared love of music. To help facilitate this, we will be repurposing this page that was previously used to announce the weekly Tuesday Open Mic nights.

From now on, this page will serve as a platform for us to share updates about the Open Mic Amsterdam Reunion Nights, post photos and videos from past events, and keep in touch with each other. We hope that you'll join us in this new chapter of our community and help us keep the spirit of the Open Mic nights alive.

Thank you all for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at one of the next reunion events.

We will post mainly during and after events, twice a year. The rest of the year this page is in hibernation mode.

6 and a half years ago I started hosting an open mic at Cafe de Koe.

I've met hundreds of great people,
I've seen people do their first live performance,
I've seen people develop themselves to be truly great great artists,
I've seen people do their final live performance,
I've seen people fall in love,
I've been on national television,
I've made great friends,
It was the thing I looked forward to all week.

And now it's time for that open mic to end.

I want to thank Cafe de Koe, all the great supportive people working at the bar and all of you who attended for the awesome memories.
