DJ E is one to truly watch out for! Residing in HAARLEM, The Netherlands. He’s always felt ardent about sharing his passion for music. He started in a cocktail bar in the Challenge (Hoofddorp) using cd's in the early 2000’s. For many years mixing was just his hobby, creating mixes from his home. It wasn’t long before he got his first residency. He is now a resident of The Jungle in Wormerveer (it’s a start up party location) and a resident DJ at Rise Up and Rave Radio. He has also been booked for RUARs next big gig, where he will play by the side of the likes of Jon00Fleming and Slipmatt. He started playing underground gigs in Amsterdam (keerkringpark, churches and other locations) and the label nights of Rough Y Bianco Records. Also, he set-up Tower Sessions from his apartment in Haarlem, doing livestreams and home parties. Which was a total hit with his followers. After doing some successful gigs he was noticed by House Music Radio, and it was to no surprise he was on playing. Off the back off this he received more and more bookings. One to mention is at the Hanging Gardens in the Factory in Plymouth UK, and the Tunnel Club, Birmingham. Due to the lockdown all was cancelled/postponed - as we know. June 2019 he and friends came up with the plan to form a group and wanted to work with some of the DJ’s he came to know. They formed a group called Back2TheBassX. With a team of 3 DJ's, they started doing parties in Haarlem but quickly outgrew this venue. They had found a new location in Alkmaar (The Underground) where they continued, to grow their following and brand. With Back2TheBassX DJ E arranged a new show on the fast growing Ride Up and Rave Radio, which has just grown from strength to strength. His followers absolutely love his sets; the shows figures say it all. Not letting the lock-down slow him down, he has not only managed to land yet another residency with UWC Radio, which you can find him playing from 3pm till 4 pm with his Tower Sessions show. He has been requested to be residency for RUAR future events. Kicking off with shows around the UK and the cementing of his new residency’s, 2021 is well and truly on its way.
