Kunstvlaai K_nstvl___ is a platform for experimental art spaces.

It produces events like a biennial festival, public discussions, publications and an on- and offline database in which it focuses on innovative methods of organisation, production and exhibition making. It want to investigate the organisational structures that art spaces use, the context in which they are started, the strategies they employ to (re)present the artists or topics they show, but also the questions they have and challenges they are confronted with in current society.

The Kunstvlaai DIT Beraad is happening!

Kunstvlaai, the platform for experimental art spaces, is preparing for a major DIT (Do It Together) manifestation in 2026. This event will highlight and strengthen the impact of experimental art spaces across the Netherlands.

As part of this process, the Kunstvlaai DIT Beraad will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Art Rotterdam (Ahoy, Rotterdam).

This gathering is an important step in shaping the 2026 manifestation collectively. It will bring together experimental art spaces to exchange ideas, discuss collaboration, and explore methods for building a stronger, more inclusive, and democratic art sector.

The DIT Beraad is a working session with key stakeholders to develop a shared vision for the future of Kunstvlaai.

The day will include discussions, artistic methods for decision-making, and speed dates with emerging talents from the Prospects exhibition in collaboration with the Mondriaan Fonds.
