Hello, I’m A’DAM - the big tower behind Amsterdam CS. I’m a building of 22 stories, with many more to tell. I can even spot your house from here.

I can see everything: from Amsterdam’s historic centre, to the harbour and the vast flat polder landscape. I’m able to share this breathtaking 360° view from LOOKOUT, my observation deck! I’m a fabulous party host and create things that thrill the senses. I’m open day and night, 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. PROGRAM

Before I forget, my 19th floor spins right round (like a record baby). Sandwiched between the attractions are the stylish homes for ID&T, MassiveMusic, Gibson and a medley of young creative companies. I’m a creative hub that breeds interaction and collaboration. A’DAM Tower lights up for The Spirit of Amsterdam

To celebrate the start, the A’DAM Tower will illuminate in the vibrant colors of The Spirit of Amsterdam, saluting the church towers across our city and shining a light on what unites us.

In honour of The Spirit of Amsterdam - a 3-day city festival in churches, mosques, synagogen and temples. With over 90 events celebrating the city’s most beautiful—and often hidden—treasures. Music. Art. Rituals. Stories. Silence.

Amsterdam is built on the values of mercy, courage, and determination. These timeless principles have shaped our city and remind us that togetherness is stronger than the differences that divide us.

Church towers once stood as beacons of community—places to celebrate, learn, and grieve together. Today, their silhouettes remind us of a shared human longing: the desire to belong.

By lighting up in the colors of The Spirit of Amsterdam, we invite everyone to step out of their own bubble, embrace the rich diversity of our city, and breathe new life into the collective spirit of Amsterdam. Let us be merciful, opening doors and reaching out to those in need. Let us be courageous, exploring new perspectives and finding strength in our differences. Today marks 10 years since my transformation journey officially began! It all started when a quartet of entrepreneurs had a wild idea to turn me into something truly iconic. With a little help from Mayor Eberhard van der Laan, who gave the official start signal for my transformation, the vision became real. The plan? To make me a tower with ‘international allure’—and I think they nailed it!

From being stripped down to my core to becoming the buzzing, creative hub I am today, my journey is one for the books. I’m not just a tower—I’m a home for music, food, work, and play. From my daring swing that flies over the edge to my top-notch restaurants and a nightclub with the best sound system in town, I’ve become an Amsterdam icon and a magnet for people from around the world.

Here’s to 10 years since construction began and to many more years of making noise, inspiring creativity, and being a destination like no other! ✨

We are incredibly proud to share the highlights from the powerful campaign launch in The Loft, led by Yolanthe Cabau. This initiative by Free a Girl aims to rescue 100 girls from sexual exploitation.

The event at the A’DAM Tower was a remarkable gathering of 100 influential women, who joined forces to raise €500.000 for this vital cause.

Sharing stories from her undercover missions, Yolanthe’s impactful speech moved everyone and underscored the urgency of their mission. The commitment of these women to raise €5.000 each, ensuring the rescue and rehabilitation of one girl per pledge, is truly inspiring.

I’m A’DAM, the big tower behind Amsterdam’s Central Station, and the one beside the spaceship-like EYE Film Institute. I’m a building of 22 stories, with many more to tell.

I can see everything: from Amsterdam’s historic centre, to its bustling port and the vast polder landscape. I can even spot your house from here. I’ll be able to share this breathtaking 360° view from my observation deck from May 2016. I’ll also host several cool bars and restaurants, and a bunch of pioneering music companies. Expect no sleep as I’m be open day and night, 25 hours a day, 8 days a week.
