Beste sportende student,

Ben je op zoek naar een leuke en leerzame uitdaging naast je studie? Wil je je inzetten voor de studentensport in Amsterdam? Dan is een bestuursjaar bij SSA iets voor jou!

SSA is de stichting die zich bezighoudt met de studentensport in Amsterdam. Als bestuurder bij SSA werk je samen in een gezellig en gemotiveerd studentenbestuur en je hebt contact met allerlei studentensportverenigingen, de Universitaire Sportcentra en andere organisaties. Bovendien kun je je eigen ideeën en initiatieven inbrengen om de studentensport in Amsterdam nog leuker en beter te maken.

Sportgala nominations are opened! 📣

During the sports gala, wonderful sports prizes will be awarded in 4 categories: 'Best Sportsman', 'Best Sportswoman', 'Best Sports Team' and 'Most Involved Member in an Association' 🏆 All Amsterdam students can nominate other students. This year, unaffiliated athletes (athletes who are not members of a student sports club) can also be nominated. You can nominate people in the form on the website until January 15, 2024. From this, 3 candidates will be chosen who have a chance to win a prize at the gala. You can then vote for the nominees at the gala until 10:30 p.m. After which the winners will be announced! 🎉

We need more voices!📣

This year the SSA wants to focus on inclusivity in the student sports. This also includes making it more accesible for unique sporters. Before we can do something, we first want to know what is/can be important for this group of athletes.

Every year, students from all over the Netherlands go to Nijmegen to represent their university, sport association, friend group, you name it!

They run in shifts to get to the finish in Enschede🔥And not all for nothing, because the race ends with an awsome party!👏
