Open all weeks in January and February 2025 From Thursday afternoons to Sunday evenings at NDSM, 16:00–01:00 hrs.

Trash or Treasure?
The Midnight Market is a series of day and night events where you can get a haircut and snag that old techno record. While dancing, discover the perfect pair of jeans amid vintage items and disco collector’s pieces. Explore new and vintage designer shirts, styled laptop bags, quirky sweatshirts, handmade cowboy boots, and unique weekender bags. Special Days for Unique Selections: Follow our socials for updates!

The Midnight Winter Market invites visual artists, printmakers, and photographers to sell their “affordable art” at the market. Choose between selling on consignment (25% commission) or setting up your own display.

Een “affordable art” nightlife & fun markt in Amsterdam.
In januari en februari 2025 van maandagmiddag t/m zondagavond in MACA. NDSM.

Trash or Treasure?
De Midnight Market is een serie events in de avond waar je naar de kapper kunt en daarna die oude techno plaat op de kop kunt tikken. Vind al dansend die lekkere spijkerbroek tussen de vintage en oude disco collector’s items. Nieuwe en vintage designer shirts en gestylde laptoptassen. Maffe sweatshirts, handmade cowboy laarzen en one of a kind weekender bags. There are special days for special selections: follow the socials.

Exit through the giftshop!
Vind een bijzonder beeldend werk van een NDSM kunstenaar. In een vaste opstelling staat een wisselende expositie van betaalbare kunstwerken. Kleine sculpturen, handige designer gadgets, sieraden, tekeningen en boeken.

On stage.
Midnight Market Amsterdam biedt tegelijkertijd ook een podium voor muziek, film en dans. Lokale muziek bandjes, stand up comedy, theater, dansperformances en filmvertoningen worden geprogrammeerd dwars door elkaar. MACA heeft een groot bioscoop scherm waar films vertoond en presentaties gegeven kunnen worden.

Call for artists:
De Midnight Winter Market nodigt beeldend kunstenaars, printmakers en fotografen uit hun “affordable art” te verkopen op de markt. In consignatie (= 25 % afdracht) of vanuit een eigen display? Kies wat jou het beste uitkomt.

Performance artists are invited to show their work, dance, theatre, music and crossovers.
We willen je graag een fair pay geven, maar dat gaat niet vanzelf. Kunst is niet gratis. Het publiek zal uiteindelijk een waardering geven voor de inspiratie, voor de beleving die een performance hun geeft. Alleen met elkaar: het publiek, de locatie en het publiek maken we een fair pay mogelijk.

Our Story

The Midnight Market pops up few times a year in the large shipbuilding hall (“Scheepsbouwloods”) of the NDSM wharf. It will present new talents on stage and host different clubs and venues showing bits and pieces of their program. Grasp the Amsterdam underground nightlife and find your trash or treasures at the fun, art and design market before you dance the night away.

The Upcoming Midnight market will be @ the NDSM at 19 May 2018 from 20:00-02u

The Midnight Market will also be present at the NDSM Vrijhaven - King’s Day April 27 at the NDSM wharf from 12:00-20:00.
