Did you know you can host a life partnership, elopement, or renewal of vow ceremony on board a canal boat in Amsterdam? ✨️Teresa and Scott✨️ from Denver renewed their vows with an intimate ceremony. It was important for them to include their beautiful daughter Blair, which she did faboulsly during tying the knot (handfasting ritual). Family, and close friends witnessed the event.

Along with ceremonies, official marriages can also take place on the boat: a registrar from the municipal office conducts and certifies the wedding as long as it occurs within the city of Amsterdam.

Regarding Teresa and Scott, the boat served as a scenic backdrop for their anniversary photos, and guests enjoyed a canal tour, too.

✨️Lotte and Aidan ✨️ chose me to officiate their spiritual wedding, which included three meaningful rituals. The ceremony took place during the autumnal equinox under a beautiful old tree. It began with the lovebirds exchanging personal vows with one another. It was beautiful!

The second ritual was a handfasting ceremony—a traditional Celtic marriage custom—during which ✨️Lotte and Aidan ✨️ literally "tied the knot."

For the third and final ritual, we designed a tea ceremony honouring their strong connection, love, and commitment to each other. This included a special gift: a cup made by Aidan’s father. Lotte and Aidan also gifted similar teacups to their family and friends. As I pronounced them partners in crime, I encouraged everyone to support them in their future endeavours. We raised our cups to celebrate their new life together and toasted the union of both families.

What a magical day it was in a truly enchanting place! Thank you, ✨️Lotte and Aidan ✨️!

It's been a long time since I've seen you here. As you know, I'm not much on social media (only for my business, CClover Jean Weddings but I just had to share this with you.

I am not against using AI to improve one's talent, creativity, and professional work. However, I am worried about feeding the machine with human knowledge, expertise, and compassion.

Will human beings become obsolete, run and ruled by the AI Machine? Will I be able to make a living in the future? And what will happen to all my favourite artists?

Not a lot of people know this, but.... how many couples chose to have an evening wedding ceremony at the beach? Bianca and Martin, a lovable Dutch couple, planned one following their 'legal' wedding. Why did I start my own black gospel & soul choir? Well, 7 years ago a client asked me to perform at her mother’s memorial service in Rotterdam. So, I got a group of great singers together, called us ABC Gospel Choir and the rest is history. A = Amsterdam, B = Black Gospel and C = Choir, we perform in Portugaal, Schokland, Belgium and beyond, the sky is the limit! A big thank you to Ernstjan & Denise for these beautiful photos.
