Een groot startveld en meer dan 15 verschillende automerken aan de start, dat is natuurlijk de YTCC! De Youngtimer Touring Car Challenge heeft zich bewezen als historische raceklasse bij uitstek voor coureurs met uiteenlopende wagens, zoals touringcars, sportwagens, prototypes en zelfs Le Mans- en IMSA-auto's die voor 1990 zijn gebouwd. 🌟 Een geweldig racetijdperk waarin fabrikanten hun best deden om de mooiste en snelste raceauto's op het circuit te zetten. Van 13 t/m 15 september keren legendarische F1-auto's, klassieke sport- en toerwagens, authentieke Grand Prix-motoren en de zijspannen terug naar het TT Circuit Assen.🤩

Zijspanlegendes: Webster/Hewitt en Biland/Waltisperg zijn terug voor een speciale demowedstrijd in Assen.🏁 Deze iconen behaalden samen 17 wereldtitels. Daarnaast komen ook de nodige vintage sportwagens van voor de oorlog, iconische auto's uit de jaren '60 en '70, en razendsnelle F1-auto's uit de jaren '80 en '90 op de baan tijdens de TABAC Classic GP.🏎

Tijdens het TABAC Classic GP weekend komt The Force F1 Legends in actie met legendarische Formule 1-bolides op het TT Circuit Assen!🤩 The Force, gevestigd in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, staat voor ‘The Historic European Formula One Race Car Entrants’.🏁 De organisatie voor eigenaren van F1 wagens vanaf bouwjaar 1980 is opgericht door Lorina en David McLaughlin.👍 Als coureur racete Lorina in haar jonge jaren tegen latere F1-sterren als James Hunt en Alan Jones.🏎 Na diverse successen behaald te hebben in het ‘clubracen’, besloten Lorina en haar man David zich toe te leggen op het verzamelen en behouden van beroemde Formule 1-auto’s.😁 Force organiseert wereldwijd demonstraties en evenementen met legendarische bolides zoals de McLaren M23 van James Hunt en de Benetton B192 waarmee Michael Schumacher zijn eerste race won.🏁 Kijk voor meer info over The Force en de TABAC Classic GP op: https://www.classicgp-assen.com/news/general

🇳🇱Een veld vol kleine racekanonnen, dat is Kampf der Zwerge!🤩 De klasse voor toerwagens gebouwd tot 1974 met een maximale cilinderinhoud van 1300 cc. Automerken zoals Mini, Simca, NSU, Abarth, Hillman en Lada gaan de strijd aan op het circuit.🚗💨 Vele positiewisselingen tijdens de races en vele deelnemers dragen bij aan het succes van deze prachtige klasse.🏁

🇬🇧A field full of small racing cannons, that's Kampf der Zwerge! The class for touring cars built up to 1974 with a maximum engine displacement of 1300 cc. Car brands like Mini, Simca, NSU, Abarth, Hillman, and Lada compete on the TT Circuit Assen.🏎 Numerous position changes during the races, and many participants contribute to the success of this beautiful racing class.

🇳🇱Graag maken we een aantal nieuwe aanmeldingen voor ons TABAC Classic GP Assen demonstratieprogramma bekend.😍 Als eerste hebben we de March 73/A Formula 5000-auto aangedreven door een Chevrolet V8.👍 Daarna hebben we de Lola T91/50, een deelnemer uit de F3000-serie. De Melkus SRG MT177 is een zeldzame overlevende uit het 'Formel 1 des Ostens'-tijdperk, en tot slot hebben we de Lola T93/20 aangedreven door een V6 Holden, die deelnam aan het Indy Lights-kampioenschap. 🏁

🇬🇧Here are some additional entries for our TABAC Classic GP Assen demonstration program.🤩 First is the March 73/A Formula 5000 car powered by an Chevrolet V8. 🇳🇱De Colmore Youngtimer Touring Car Challenge bestaat dit jaar alweer 30 jaar.👍 En vooral de laatste tien jaar is de populariteit van deze Nederlandse historische raceserie in heel Europa toegenomen.🤩 Dat komt vooral door de ‘no-nonsensestructuur’: lekker racen op fraaie race-evenementen zoals de TABAC Classic GP met prachtige bolides en goed gevulde startvelden!😍
