Did look amazing at Elfia? We loved making her this bonnet ❤️😍

with Another Elfia, another new costume!
Introducing my Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol inspired dress 🎄❤️✨️

My second self made outfit, boy this one was quite a challenge, especially the many layers shoulders part, that was truly HELL. I kept repeating at sewing class “Joost Klein eat your heart out, a new shoulder queen has been born!” 🤣

A lot of fabric and lace went into this dress and I am so proud how the dress turned out, it took me almost a year to make it, but I learned so much along the way. Ah yes and the blonde cute ringlets wig, kinda admit it I adore more dark colour hair but for Charles Dickens style it will certainly do (although most people thought I was a cute Mary had a little lamb girl 😂)

Shoutout to my sewing class teacher, without you I would be lost in this project. A LOT. Thank you for all your help, wise words and skills you tought me along the way of this journey. Looking forward to another costume adventure with you!

Also many thanks to .costume.studio for the wonderfull Christmas inspired bonet they made for this outfit.

Hopefully I can bring my gown to the Dickens Event at Deventer at the end of the year, that will be truly amazing! 🎄❄️🎩

Little flashback to drawing Sisi’s pattern 😍 It will be the gown from the painting but the customer liked the lines of the Think of Me Gown from the Phantom 2004 movie so we incorporated that into the design ❤️

A much heard complaint; my dress doesn’t have pockets! 😂 So with the fabric that was leftover after adjusting it to her size, cutting the bottom and taking of the train of our friends’ wedding dress, we made her a quick little purse 🥰

~*~ Phantasy Couture - La Fantasma Veneziana ~*~ This started out as a ‘let’s clear out some left over fabrics and laces’ but quickly turned into a very elaborate red, gold and green costume. We still didn’t buy anything for it, though. It was such a fun project! It was a great challenge to create something beautiful with a limited amount of materials. The result though looks lush and full and we are quite happy how it turned out. This costume is featured in our Phantom of the Opera Tarot deck (.art.studio ). The design is inspired by the amazing Maria Björnson and we would like to think that this costume could be featured in Masquerade

We loved the challenge of bringing a digital costume to life. Finding the fabric alone was quite the search, but we are very happy with the result. This is Celes Chere from Final Fantasy VI

Phantasma creates high quality costumes, replicas (movie, tv shows, musical theatre) as well as own design fairytale and fantasy dresses.

Yesterday and today we have been adjusting a friend’s wedding dress to size ❤️ The back needs to be altered so we are taking away and adding the beads & sequins again, the dress is too long and the train needs to be shorter 🥰
